With just 4 games left in regular season, it's time for teams to get their full rosters on the court and earn the top seeding possible. Here's the summary of what happened on Saturday.
Two top tier Great 8 teams played on "Las jugadas imposibles". Tachenko used a surprising run'n gun strategy but Booshes didn't fall on the trap and preferred man to man on D. It was a close and high scoring game, considering those 2 are defense first type of teams. Booshes hold on to the 1st seed with a 97-108 win.
Goats hosted Bangers at Chicago and that was an important game for playoff contention. Although they have made 20 TO's against Bangers’ only 4, Chicago hit the jumpers consistently unlike their recent games. 108-99.
In a game that was crucial for both bottom and the top of the league, Hawks took care of Rip City: 94-82. Billon was listed as injured due to shoulder injury for this game.
Chow and Gavno cruise past Bumbul and Dragons and stay on top. Dragons are playing good basketball for a winless team but they have to win at least 3 of 4 games to avoid automatic relegation.
Illuison had hard times at New York against the Knicks but managed to pull the win: 98-105. Knicks' Paakkolanvaara has a name that's impossible to pronounce and he had a game that was impossible to be stopped with 42 points.
Cleveland, competing for 3rd seed with Tachenko, now has a 1 game and a better point difference advantage. All Cleveland starters reached double figures as they beat Flyers 90-76.
Cresleys keep on shocking everyone. They beat Magic in a must win game and heat up the relegation battle on Big 8. 123-110. Magic front office is reportedly planning to blow up the team during the off season. Cresleys have a very tough schedule ahead but so do Magic and Rip City.
Investors played hard like in all other home games and hand Steppers their second loss in 5 days. 91-78. Investors took over the 4th spot with that win. Mina scored 52% of Steppers points but he can't do it all, it takes two to tango and this guy needs a sidekick.
Player of the day was George Braden of Mighty Booshes. He had an all around game with 23 pts, 10 asts, 8 rbds, 2 stls and no TO's.
Two games to watch on Tuesday. Hawks and Booshes will play for the homecourt. Illusion - Goats games are always entertaining as those two teams have great history of rivalry.
