The cup is coming to a close with some bad draws for NBBA teams and only 4 teams remain.

Underrated teams in the rankings: Wasted Potential and Triple Double

Good Luck to all this week and let's hope to stay injury free!

Interested in how much your opponents spent to construct their roster? I looked through each NBBA team and found how much they spent on transfers to construct their current roster. Obviously there are other expenses that go into account for how much it really took to make your team, but here is what was spent on the transfer market alone for players above 10k salary on each roster:

# of homegrown/drafted players in a team's rotation is the number after the total paid:

Atelier $12,076,100 0
The LA Lions $10,252,098 1
Triple Double $10,019,166 0
Arizona Cacti $9,759,000 1
Splash Gang $8,096,800 0
Wasted Potential $7,542,400 1
Telecasters $7,460,300 1
Delta 9 $6,564,783 0
Irvine Anteaters $6,489,200 0
F.Day Internet Lovers Club $5,856,500.00 0
Work in Progress $5,776,600.00 1
Jim Almeidas Janito $5,500,500.00 0
southpaw army $5,006,600.00 1
Wavy Gates $3,536,100.00 1
Mill City Thunder $2,907,000.00 0
Delaware 87ers $1,558,700.00 2

Interesting stuff to me. Let me know if you find I made a mistake in your total. Also I love hearing how people go about constructing their teams since I find it interesting how different people approach it.

Most expensive players purchased:
Aristodemo "Demo" Samuel for $2,653,100.00 by Triple Double
Christopher Stepp for $2,500,000 by Atelier
Luis Turland for $2,500,000 by Splash Gang
Rodrigo Blanco for $2,500,000 by LA Lions

My opponent EBTU is sporting 815k in payroll heading into the match. I have a big gameshape advantage but I can't take him for granted. We'll see what happens.

This is the first season that I've had non-US players on my roster, and I bought guys that I could either take back down with me or flip for close to what I paid for them depending on how it all plays out. I guess my philosophy is "why build one when you can have two for twice the price?", combined with a healthy aversion to skill-drops and season wrecking injuries.

Anyways, after you knocked Splash Gang out of the tournament, I said something to myself and had an idea for a meme if we met up, and then you took that thing I posted about increasing revenue personally which just made it even funnier imho so I spent a little time today trying to make it but I kinda ran out of steam.

Hahaha this is awesome!! I look forward to the matchup on Thursday, it should be a good one! Though I'm not sure it can fully live up to the hype of this video.

Also I wasn't ripping on your highest purchase. I just found it interesting to see which players had been bought for the most in the league and how none of us have spent over 3 million on a player.

Best of luck on Thursday!!

I may have taken a few artistic liberties with accuracy with respect to the dialogue. I wanted to have Mrosla and Webb's heads firing out of the fusion cannon (among a lot of other things, cameo's from other teams, etc) but as soon as I learned how to do it I lost interest at the sheer tedium of doing it all.
