Yeah probably not going to make it to the finals of this thread!

I would of took the game against Australia and played decoy tactics in a probable loss to Spain.

But I thought they were ALL winnable?

Ok initially I wasn't gonna use the Spain game as an example, but since you brought it up I will talk about the Spain and Australia matches. Notice how in the Australia game we got outplayed in the 2nd and 4th quarter. Emphasis needs to be placed on players with higher stamina in order to be able to maintain leads as the match goes on. Without delving into too much detail I would have a Motion offense in that match. The weakness on that Australia team was the guards.

Against Spain, any tactic would have been more feasible than Low Post. Again without too many details and based on the Spain team, I would have played conservative and used a Base Offense. They were definitely expecting inside.

Didn't say it wasn't. But normal to secure the Australia game is the right move there. And you know it is. And who's to say what happens against Spain if we don't have 3 guesses against us? Maybe we wouldn't have needed the enth from the Australia loss?

Thank you for answering the questions. I appreciate when candidates at least try. Balls for you!

I have 1757 players for sale and I'm $25,835,360 in debt. Buy them at outrageous prices, or be selfish and make me go bankrupt. You decide, BB.

I haven't seen a speech from you in the other thread, so I'm confused on what your platform is this time around. What do you bring to the table that distinguishes you from the other candidates? What is something you want to change these next two seasons with the NT?

I would love to give you more insight on the tactical reasonings/secrets but unfortunately that will have to wait until I retire from BB (a long time from now).

It wasn't the pretties of terms, but now with a NT term under his built, Isaiah is the most experienced candidate and I absolutely want to see him manage a second term. He has my vote.

Just to add to that, I've examined Isaiah's management of the NT closely on the US offsite: He put's a lot of dedication into scouting players and teams and critiquing his managerial tactics. He's the best man for the job.

The best candidate for the job wins gold with a gold capable team. That's just simple.

Its very easy to say what you would have played now that you see the results. Heck, I would play things a little differently too. But based on everything we had in front of us and the shape of our roster at that time I really don't think yourself or Goldbear would have done much different. The Australia game was a fluke and Id say 8 out of 10 times we would have won. As for the Spain game, go look at the discussion for it. I was dead set on PTB and had it set until the last two minutes. I feared the double guess and it happened. That was my only wrong decision in my opinion. The Australia game I would do it over again.

Also, you talk about playing the guys with the best stamina but do you not realize that stamina really isn't that high on the majority of our best players? Its not like we can just pick whoever we want whenever we want. We are only allowed 18 players and if we make drops then we lose enthusiasm. What you are saying you would do is almost an impossible feat due to the restrictions in place.
