Getting pretty sick of people giving Tata an easy ride every season. Like seriously.. How the hell is anyone supposed to compete when half the EBBL make sure one team always gets an easy ride? I've had hard games against people all fricking season and I'm watching a player move away purely because people are too gutless!

Rant off - you may now go back to allowing Tata an easy ride, giving him as much capital as it is possible to make and allowing a continued imbalance in everyone's ability to compete in the english league.

It certainly unbalances and takes credit from the competition.

I really like competition... But seriously - this season is proving sickening because the PD now from people throwing his games is making him impossible to catch. Pretty sure Tata doesn't care because he is just interested in B3 now.

you get hard games because your support cast isn't good enough to win without both of your stars and good teams like SoV know it. You beat those teams on their court a few times in a row, then come back to me.

Mwah. Happy Valentine's day

Seriously though, what did you expect Tigers to do? He could try and win each game and risk going 0-3 this week, or he can rest his starters against me and pretty well make sure he wins 2 of 3, and plan on winning his home game against me later. The latter is exactly what I chose away against you earlier in the season when I chose to TIE.

Besides, I'm not making money. Trust me. I've made 140k all season out of B3 wins and cup runs. I pay to keep that bar high and intimidate the opposition.

Maybe I'll keep Sharpling, I don't think I'd want to see him on your team, come to think of it.

I'd afford more support if I was bringing in the extra 100k you bring in because your fan survey is so high you can pull in the extra - I can't afford the salaries you can because of the continued bending over.

This has nothing to do with team balance. It has everything to do with people bending over for you

edit: and I would note that the only reason your fan survey is so high half the time is because of people throwing the blinking games!

There certainly seems to be a lack of ambition on the blue side. I'm sure someone's going to point out that Muse has a really tough game in the cup (against a newly promoted team) but that's life. He's not just thrown away one game, he's thrown away a whole season it would appear to me. That's up to him I suppose, but again, its a lack of ambition. With his players he should be challenging.

I wouldn't like to be in Elmacca's shoes personally. Can't be much fun never having a proper game to play. Except sometimes on wednesdays.

If I were muse I'd be taking on Tata and throwing the other game. Because frankly the wider the gap the harder it is for everyone. I'm not asking for much - just a level playing field.

I don't mind. I have a highly competitive Utopian league to play in.

Besides, it's kind of fascinating, watching to see if anyone else will figure out how to get to the B3 level.

Both Muse and Vecx have beat me in the past and then decided to blow it up and take another path to slowly rebuild. I've always gone for more organic growth and one season retools while maintaining my EBBL spot, which has proven a more successful strategy over the last ten seasons.

Not my fault they can't get back to the top, they have to find a way around me. Muse is very close th having the team to do that, he had no luck last season and an unfortunate cup draw this week.

He will certainly back himself to win his home game against me, if he's still in contention but I suspect he's more concerned with making sure he wins the tournament, which at neutral venue is the best way back to B3. He just needs to avoid injuries, an away draw at Vecx or myself to arguably be tournament favourite. After all, I have less merchandising cash than before and a weaker team that's training its back court.

Muse has a great back court but both of those players do have flaws that need compensating for, and his front court is very good but not dominant in the way Vecx's is. I believe Muse is simply waiting for his SF trainees to make the difference for him. And if I was him, looking at my 33 year old SF, that's what I'd do too.

Nah, the only thing would change is point differential, not win and loss record.

The fan survey is due to the angel effect of winning the league. That's worth 40k declining to 25k as the season progresses..

Which would be far more dramatic if people actually tried - you would win less.
