Picking up former U21 player John Satchwell is also going to help my team. Salary efficient but he will get the job done.

I have my starting guards. Just need to get my SF-PF-C.

I schooled you so bad that you forgot how to speak English? Don't worry, I have that effect on people.

What? All I said (jokingly) is that it's ridiculous you have such a huge amount of money that you wouldn't have had you started later, and that newer teams have no hopes in competing with that.

I'm not weather. Why are you getting all antsy and upset at me?

I didn't reply to you here. I'm not mad at you. Sorry that you don't know me well, my post in the NT thread is just joking around. Check out the last time Beanerz ran. We had some pretty fun banter.

Anyhow, if you don't like it I will stop. I think you'd be a great NT manager and so far you have my vote. ;-)

lol i like how the 2 guys that made it to naismith... lets face it, through making money off the transfer list and "building" a team, are commenting about others buying winning teams

i just find it ironic, thats all

huh? I don't know what exactly weather was getting at, but I was talking more about the game and it's inherent advantages in playing length, not Paper Pushers and his ability to manage a team...

This is what I was also stating. Inherent advantages in playing length, etc. Nothing in there about his ability to manage. Let me take some quotes out of my post:

Yeah, it basically shows you that if you played this game from the beginning, regardless of skill and effort

Does not imply that you're a terrible manager.

(and it seems like our subject in this case barely cares about the game anymore)

I will take back this quote. I was confusing you with Random Noise, who I remember forfeited certain games a few seasons back to inconvenience some managers. He's down in like III now(?)

Once again, though, nothing in here implying that you're a poor manager. Please up your reading comprehension skills..

You said "regardless of skill and effort" implying even a prune could make it to Naismith if they started the game early enough. I could give many examples of teams that couldn't hack it, despite maybe even starting before me. Some have quit, others are toiling in division II.

I don't like the old boys club comment, either. The game needs guys like you to succeed or it will surely die, if it is not down that path already. I'm just saying that, while frustrating, you shouldn't be too disappointed if you can't stay in Naismith on your first crack.

But yes, I get your point. I just like to be a s*** disturber sometimes.

I'm not sure if I am ready for the 1st game, I tried to put together some pieces that I thought could complement my PG. But my latest purchase seems to be stuck at the airport. I hope he arrives in time for tonight's game.

I think your 1st game went just fine...that PG is a beast, he almost had a triple double!
