Last season, 1 injury. This season, no injuries until new staff were implemented. Now I have had 3 in the last 2 weeks. I have a lvl 4 (new system) doctor.

Not a complaint, just my experience.

Seems like there are a lot of reports of people having a much higher incidence of injures since the new staff system was released. Wondering if this is a bug.

Steve

Yes!

Older than the rest ...

i've noticed the same... i've had 3 injuries in like 4 weeks.. i didnt have that many the whole last season!

One injury ****** up my whole playoff.. thanks to random number generation...!

Oh yes, today my PF injured himself without even ONE minute played.. very sexy!

EDIT: Watch your language.

good point really.. i'd pay an extra 2-3k "salary" for a nice insurance or something.

Injuries influence the game too much to be a random event to be honest.

could we get some news from the devs?

The effect of doctors in preventing long term injuries (injuries that last beyond the game where the injury takes place) did change in some small ways during the transition last season. We did our best to keep overall effectiveness close, however. As we said in the news, Each new staff member has approximately the same ability level and salary his predecessor.

I believe that the reports of injuries in this thread are not a reflection any change in the doctors. Injuries are still rare, and multiple injuries on one team even rarer, but they do happen, and when they do, it often seems like more than just bad luck. Here are a few stats that may be reassuring: We currently over 38000 teams with human GMs. The current numbers may be a bit lower than usual because of the offseason, but of those teams, 83.6% have no injured players, 14.7% have 1 injured player, and 1.7% have multiple injured players.

heheheh, then I'm in the lucky 14,7 ;) Hopefully the statistic hits me evenly over the whole season. Then I should get no more than one or two weeks of injuries more.

I've 4 injured players since Stuff change. Only 2 or perhaps 3 for the whole season and half prior to that:s
And I supposedly have a better doctor now, too (new Level 3 Doctor comparing to old Level 1 Doctor):/
I don't know, Mike, I mean, sure, you can call it a bad luck, BUT don't you think that there is a bit too much coincidence in the fact that we all got unlucky right after Stuff change occured?
