I'm convinced that inside shot has nothing to do with driving layups in this game.

I agree - my PG with atrocious IS is living proof.

AI, Parker example is just ridiculous! The fact that they can't score on the low post against tall players does not mean that they have low IS. It means that height is very important in match ups, which is totally disregarded by BuzzerBeater.

the engine doesn't take into account height, only skill levels. Height impacts oly training speed - your point is not relevant.

A driving lay-up takes into account both driving and IS but driving counts for more.

A BB (was it Charles or Mark ?) has clarified it once.

Which is not fair since, in reality, guards are way better at driving lay-up than big men...

Since when?? any proves??? Just assumptions, and probably bad naming of the skill. Still is not a coincidence that when you train it you train one on one, plus the fact that its the cheapest and the easiest skill to train...

What kind of assumption is there in a BB has given hints on how a lay-up works ???

I am upset you are accusing me of unsubstantiated assumptions, I would rather be accused of being an outright liar :)

Driving shots are discussed regularly and this quote has been posted many times. I don't have the patience right now to use the awkward forum search engine. Do you ? You don't have to take my word for it but now you can look for that message :)

That's the quote indeed. Thank you Manon, thank you very much for finding it.

Now everyone can freely interpret it :)

How many of those driving layups are guarded by someone.

Layups are generally high percentage shots, if he has high driving and it was an open lay up then yeah the odds are he will make it even at atrocious or pitiful.

What it doesnt say is how important is each skill for it. As i said several times i consider DR as an overrated skill and i insist on it since none proved me wrong...
