Tonight we scraped out an overtime win against a stronger team by salary and dmi. HCA no doubt helped.

It will be very difficult to get to the semis looking at the standings and next 2 opponents.
With some luck and some savvy maneuvering, maybe. Never say die.

THE BOOOYYYSSSSS!!!!

What a win! I was in the same boat as Argos31 thinking that we would have to leave it up to point differential to get in over Uruguay after losing this one to Peru but that was an inspired performance! I'm not good enough at the game to really tell yet but I have to say that seemed like a tactical masterpiece.

My guy MacKames may have fouled out early to come back and party with the boys lol!

That was a massive win I must say.

Paired with Ecuador's shock over Uruguay, the door is open for us.

Thank you to the trainers who got lots of pops last week AND managed many GS9s. We needed every last one.

Who'da thunk it? After everything we top the group! Looks like a brutal match-up with Argentina in the semis tho but what an achievement regardless!

Easy win today as our opponent crunched last week.
Uruguay also knocked off Peru so we end up top of the group!

A lot of crazy results in both pools, and it looks like two teams that were 3rd and 4th with 2-2 records entering last game make the semis!

Next week vs Argentina and not the States now I believe.

One game to win to make worlds again.
