Week 2
Fu Kuande has decided to take his talents to North America... But already wants out?
1. Pszczyna Team 6-0 - Off:102.1 (2) Def:65.6(1)
The only team that remains undefeated with the best defence in the league. Even though they're on top, the team is trying to stay on ground level and maintain course. Led by Chiappori with an impressive 20ppg and 15rpg, the team is taking it one game at a time and also treating each one as important as the other. Is there a team in this league that can stop them?
2. Keyes Kop 5-1 – Off: 106.1 (4) Def:76.6 (2)
With Pszczyna Team trying to run off with 1st place in the Great 8, Keyes Kops is right on their tails with the only loss coming from them. The team has a balanced attack having 6 players average in double figures in points. They're team is second best in defence and hanging in there with damian13ster.
3. Scarborough Stampede 5-1 – Off: 105.5 (2) Def: 85.5 (T4)
The top in the Big 8 suffered their first loss last week in which they lost a close one against The Syndicate. They may need every game they can get to secure HCA with Cerebral Assassins coming up as it will be crucial down the road in the playoffs. With their starting PG in Runliang out for another 2 weeks, will they be able to hold onto top spot in Big 8?
4. Soul Crushers 5-1 - Off: 96.0 (5) Def: 93.3 (9)
A sleeper team that no one really talks about but is right there in the match up for top team in the league. They're quick offense has them running through their opponents with nice wins against Webfoots and Haylors, converting on 24/58 threes in the past two games - 10 alone coming from star SG Ge Guixiang. Is it too early to say he'll be in the 3-point competition this year?
5. Cerebral Assassins 4-2 - Off: 99.8 (3) Def: 86.1 (6)
Will this team ever be satisfied with their roster? In just 3 weeks since the season has started, they have already made 13 transactions (6 coming in and 7 going out), and the biggest transaction being Fu Kuande. The backcourt of Kuande and Barthel must be one of the biggest salaried players together in Div II. Just the backcourt salary alone is more than most teams in Div II. Every team is feared to play these guys, but are they really that big as they appear to be?
Hero Team of the Week: Pszczyna Team
The team just doesn't want to lose with blowouts of 48 and 44 in the past two games.
"NBA Dunk Contest 2012" Team of the Week: We Are Legends
After getting a nice win early in the season, the team has dropped 4 in a row, topped off by getting spanked by 27 by a team that is confused of their identity in Ottawa Lightning. Has this team given up and just going for the top pick of the draft? Or will they be able to turn it all around.
