1. Your poll has no satisfactory answer to the effect that auto-bid will fix nothing. Even with auto-bid, you cannot be assured of the final, winning bid on a player you really want if you are not online at the conclusion of the auction. Auto-bid does not move the sun into your night nor the moon into my day.

2. The system is beset with day traders. The abuse of a system does not mean the system is broken, it means the system is being abused. They have begun to take measures to limit the abuse, and I hope they do much more. Day trading has no place in this sim because day trading is in no way consistent with a basketball sim. Not a single professional or major college basketball team day-trades personnel.

3. I looked at your transfer list as you requested. Now I know how the transfer list of a day trader may appear. Given my opinion of day trading, any further comment would be negative, so I'll leave it there.

4. Everyone is asleep some time. Players transfer around the clock. Neither of these facts makes you the victim you portray yourself to be.

5. Auto-bid doesn't cure stupid. Stupid bids will be just as prevalent with or without autobid. Autobid does not create intelligent bidding any more than an aspirin would. Autobid doesn't make newbies suddenly judicious nor experienced managers suddenly ethical.

6. One suggestion: rather than beat the autobid horse to death, why not lobby for a better system of maintaining players in their native country? As it is, a player's nationality is essentially meaningless. International geography is meaningless. They don't even need to call countries by their names. There is no effective limitation or incentive for a team to stock its roster mainly with nationals. Wouldn't you rather compete against your countrymen and others in the same time zone, with just a bit of International flavor on the rosters? I know I would. And the sun rises and sets on your countrymen just as it does on you, so no need for autobid even by your reasoning.

"You CAN be ASSURED that NOBODY will outbid you by LESS THAN YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY with an autobid while ALSO potentially paying LESS than your maximum amount WITHOUT being online when the auction ends."

Um I hate to break it to you but you can do the same now by bidding what you are willing to pay when you are online. Autobid could just save you a bit of money if you get the player.. Why should they implement Autobid just to save people money that are too tight just to bid what they think the player is worth?

If i'm not online when a player will go and I really want him I just go straight ahead and bid the most i am willing to pay.. If I lose then its ok because I wouldn't have paid more in the first place and if I get him then great.

A couple of things: Firstly I understand its annoying that the best way of getting players for the best place is being online often and making late bids. I get that, I've lost out on players because of that and very few people can be online all the time but, as I just explained, you can still get players for prices noone is prepared to go over, hence market price.

Secondly: I've only been playing the game for 3 and a half seasons and spent my whole first season with no idea what I was doing but honestly I don't have to justify why i'm 'still stuck in England DIII???' to you but thanks for your concern.

Also if you bothered to have a look at my players I have about 1.5 mill in player assets, so yeh about that 'hole' that you reckon i'm in..

You have some good points about good suggestions in the game and you really seem to care which is great but I don't think you're going about things the right way.

Shorter posts, a less confrontational tone and showing some understanding for other peoples views would go a long way.

For example, trainerman, look at my post of Date: 11/7/2014 8:44:08 PM. I addressed issues directly and respectfully.

Now look at your reply; it neither addressed issues directly nor was it a respectful post.
