I completely understand you, you could try to get a playoff spot while still making decent income 30 seasons ago (or maybe more ? I don't remember). Now if you are at salary floor (690 k), which is already a huge upgrade of what it used to be (I think in my very early BBBL seasons, 20-ish something something, it was less than 500 k), it's very difficult to even survive the season.

On the other hand, promotion money is really worth. Better go up, down, and up again than stay in D. 2 I think. Plus you get a decent shot at the draft.

I understand Grumble's decision not to play in the final. Maybe I'm too romantic, but I'll always try to play a final, even if given little to no chance.

In the B3 however, it's another story. The Utopia team of Sant Mateu, a three times B3 winner, seems unbeatable. I'm about to go down in flames.

Nevertheless, being in the last 16 isn't too bad, that was my goal at the start of the season in B3, and I don't think I can do much better with my current squad.
