I think I am screwed, despite the fact I strengthened my team this offseason.

Salary only means so much imo, it will boil down roster structure and player builds! You never know!

I know. I have some salary efficient players. Not a ton, but some. I got a decent shot.

I always overreact week 1.

Ironically, I like to blaze and am chill as f in most other facets of life.

The season kickoff on Saturday, July 12, 2025, features six exciting matchups at 6:00 PM, each with teams looking to make a strong first impression:

- **LIM (3) vs. BAK (1)**: A clash between two teams with firework potential, with LIM aiming to assert dominance early.
- **URB (7) vs. WAV (8)**: WAV looks to assert dominance against new-comer URB… Will WAV start off hot again…?
- **SUP (5) vs. STM (4)**: A closely matched game with SUP looking to outshine STM's experience.
- **SMA (6) vs. LOS (4)**: SMA faces a tough test against LOS, who may leverage home advantage (TV coverage).
- **VIL (7) vs. NEA (5)**: VIL aims to surprise NEA in a matchup where NEA team salary peaks past 800k+.
- **WP (8) vs. LEO (3)**: WP looks to take down LEO and set the tone and new additions arrive, can LEO outlast WP?
- **FLY (2) vs. BLU (1)**: A top-tier showdown with FLY challenging the favored BLU.
- **CRN (2) vs. TAR (6)**: CRN seeks to maintain momentum with continuous growth against a resilient TAR team.

- **Flying Ostriches 116 - Blue Ocean 90**: Flying Ostriches took wing, obliterating Blue Ocean 116-90 with R. Młudzik’s board-crashing dominance and 30 team assists that carved up defenses. They flew high and left their rivals grounded!

- **Wasted Potential 97 - Lion Rebels 77**: Wasted Potential slammed the door on the Lion Rebels with P. Hengli’s seven swats, securing a 97-77 beatdown. The paint was their fortress, and the Rebels were locked out!

- **Smallfries 98 - Los Angeles Lords 114**: D. Rajhenfater’s 32-point masterpiece powered the Los Angeles Lords to a 114-98 thrashing, leaving the Smallfries crispy and outclassed. These Lords ruled the court with regal flair!

- Power Forward: A. Fonseca (Wavy Gates) bulldozed through for 24 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 blocks, posting a 33 efficiency with a stat line smoother than silk. He was a powerhouse in every sense!

- Center: R. Młudzik (Flying Ostriches) ruled with 20 points and 20 rebounds for a 36 efficiency, vacuuming up boards like a black hole in sneakers. The paint bowed to his dominance!

MVP:
