We need an Aussie manager to run our national team. I'm happy to step up if no one else does. I have over 30 seasons experience and i have managed the u21 scottish team. I would need support and am sure i could get some from all the other aussie managers, I'll only put my hand up if no on e elae does by the 23rd.

Hello

I'm DYD, a 34 seasons experienced italian manager.

I'm actually involved in our local U21 team (European Champions!), as scout for big men and tactics and i manage italian database as admin.

I've 've also gained experience in coaching serving 10 season as GhanaU21 and IndonesiaU21 and 4 seasons as Norway NT manager.

Currently, i have in my roster 3 players with NT focus (2 on my main team and one in Utopia's), so i fully understand user's point of view about "non-matching" training plan, merchandising and so on.

this background made me confident that our role as coach is very importan but it's not enough. A great coach is nothing without the help of the community: Users can take an eye on gameshape, fulfill a balanced trainin plan, basically keep perseverance to follow a long range NT plan. All of these are fuel for a NT growth process.

Austraila is at 13rd place in world ranking. It's a great position but without this fuel, without continuity and cooperation it can be hard to mantain or to improve this spot.

i don't know if here you start at 18yo to define a NT training plan for players, but that's the way i vould like to develop/continue

About the "Aussie" coach: i think Australia (and every BB nation, generally speaking) needs the best. And the best doesn't mean only the most skilled one, but mainly the most involved one, the one who has enough time to study opponents, to take care of the players and mantain contact wiht managers. He can be a local coach or not, but what's important is how dedicated he is. And i am.

Thank you for reading, i'll wait for any question in the other thread.

I would like to apply for my 3rf stint as our NT manager. I had spoken to Jay about over taking for his last time as he only stepped down the previous time as he did not have supporter. Sadly he was unable to find success with the team the last time but IMO is a very good manager. I will be hoping to have his feedback again in relation to the team.

Sadly I think the NT lost a bit when it was tried to us federations to manage the teams. Sadly a lot of old experienced managers do not currently have supporter so limit their ability to have input. With this in mind I would like to look into setting up the old or a new forum for communication. With these it will be important to post in the general forum to let those know there is some new information on the forum.

I have had time with our NT, 21 NT and also Japan 21 NT in the past. During this time and with my own side have been able to learn a lot about how the game works and continues to frustrate all of us. I seem to have success in my 2nd year with a side with our best 2 results in the consolation tournament winning our side HCA for the following Asian Championships. On one of these occasions Jay was able to take the side all the way to great victory.

The team is at a crossroad with the core of the side getting older and the next period will be important in our development in ensuring the next bread of NT players come through. I personally have 2 MVP big sim training and hoping they make it to the NT in future seasons.

Being back into the ABBL I will be part of a more active league and believe that will encourage me to be more active in general within the game and that will result in more active discussion within the national forum in regards to our team as it attempts to return as one of the powerhouses within Asia.
