I tried to find clear explanation for your case but it wasn't easy. I still don't have one. You have been winning steadily, you hired a PR, you didn't sell any of of your players recently, you didn't chance prices, it's really hard to say. The only thing I can come up with is the fact you are at a IV division and in this level of competition your team is not strong enough to ensure a stable fanbase and thus can be subject of those weird oscillations.

I am also not sure, but the only reason I can think of is the 8th placed team has a stronger roster (in terms of salary) than the 5th placed team. Maybe there is also a randomness factor involved.

l as it would imply that there is a totally random factor to fan behavior. And that is in now way true at all..

Actually, the BB's have stated in the past multiple times there is a random factor to every part of BuzzerBeater.

From the Fan Survey page itself: "The results are based on a small sample of fans, and may not accurately represent the feelings of all of your team's supporters."

That right there suggests at the very least an incomplete factor, if not random.
