If that happened, The manager would play his own guys.
What about bot leagues, if the manager can't check in then what happens?

I was thinking of tactics setting only will be awarded to the All Star coach, meaning the rosters will still be voted upon.

in a bot league then there will be a bot manager = default tactics.

yeah exactly.. good observation there.

I think what we can do there is to not actually reveal the stats to the coach. Having scouted these all star players, the coach should have atleast a good idea or estimate of their skill levels.

yes, exactly. only that part, i think that's an additional motivation to push hard even at the start of the season.
