Howdy Josh and welcome to Buzzerbeater. I also played Hattrick several years ago. You will find many of the concepts of that game carry over to this one.

Don't get discouraged if you get kicked around in your first games as the startup teams are seriously undermaned for division 4. I lost my first seven league games before getting a win

Yo fellas, I'm also a new guy. Was promoted here after last season. This is a good league.. I'm getting my ass whipped lol but good, active competition.

Cool to have you guys in the league...getting your ass whipped is the learning process....we all experience it. Even after my 2nd or 3rd season in this league i still get it handed to me from time to time if i dont set my tactics right.

Welcome. New teams get knocked around quite a bit in the beginning, but if you have some patience and stick around I think you'll really enjoy this game.

Welcome to the league. Coming in as a 7 seed this late in the season, being one week from the playoffs, pretty much guarantees that you will be demoted to Division 5. But don't sweat, Most teams start in D5 and move up to D4 a few seasons in. I'm not really sure why Buzzer Beater puts new teams in D4 because it not really fair to the new teams. We've had several new teams come in this season. But stick with it long enough and good things are sure to happen.

Thanks guys. I have the patience for these types of games. Being demoted will give me a chance to work on my roster and training, then hopefully be back up in another season with a team ready to compete!

That really sucks. Because you won one game and somehow got into 5th place, you won't demote (based on my understanding of how all that works). Hopefully I'll finally promote, D3 is a pretty exclusive club and I didn't make it last season.

I hope you do promote, you've got a great squad!

My luck is that I played Adirondack in that final game. They were able to be worse than me. It'll be a tough next season as I try to get this franchise up and running, but I'm taking a long-term approach so growing pains are expected for a few seasons.
