Hey mate,
I am also fairly active so hopefully some of the others are too.
I've haven't really had a look at the title contenditors just yet but I have had a look at some of the other teams who will be facing relegation so heres my tips on relegation.
In the Big 8
Unless the island dreamers makes some changes I think he will finish last in the conference and have the worst record in the league.
And then I feel it will be me (The Winnerz), The Jets 30 and Warren Bulls who are the weaker teams and threatned by the relegation series.
In the great 8
I see tannum tantrums finishing last in the conference.
And then The Little Wannabees facing relegation series, with Semi Pro, Red Paint or the tornado facing him.
Obviously it's early and alot of changes will be made and anything can happen so this will change.

What your thoughts and what is everyone else's thoughts???
What's everyone's plan for the season??
I know my plans are to improve my team and arena. Continue training my U/21 prospect and to avoid relegation??

Hey all,

Welcome back goldy, I'm pretty good mates with SplitJ and we had a good chat about your team, something about you hoarding a lot of money, I'm waiting for your influx of three 50k big men + ripping up the legue! Either way, looking towards another competitive season against you. The strongest teams in our conference = Your team, Mine (Flow Gaming), Supreme Team. Fishy Kangas is on the upswing and they're looking pretty strong and will only improve. Early tip for MVP is probably my PG Wallace Sarstedt ;P but we'll see how that goes! Razor, the gap between Div 3 and 2 is fairly large so you could possibly be stuck on Div 3 for four or five seasons. It's probably best to make sure you're training 2 or 3 solid trainees, not just expending all your effort on one. You could easily give at least 2 trainees full 48 minute training. Make sure you're not wasting your minutes on so-so prospects, really train solid ones at least allstar or super star :D

yea there seems to be quite a gap beteween some of the top teams and some of the lower teams. you either seem to be going for title or relegation theres not much in between i think. for our conference, i agree with microlol. for the great 8 it seems to be a lot more open.

Not exactly sure what my plans are for this season, however i will say, anything less than promoting this season and i will see it as a failure. microlol is right, i dont want to scare you guys off to much, but i have many multi millions saved in the bank after tanking last season and then selling off my 2 trainees. I think that a arena upgrade will be a good idea, and get my new trainees on the way to their u21 nt.

For the mvp, i think that Clyde Ó Cuileann should still be up there, although he didnt go that well this season i can see him going well if the super saiyans can get up for a few wins this season.

Hi all,

Looking forward to seeing what the season brings. Lost my first game and so looking ahead I may have to make some changes which will be hard because of how attached I have become to some of my players.

My aim this season is to avoid relegation and keep training my trainees.

Looking forward to good talks throughout the season. I am fairly active but what with getting married in July and looking for a place to live I may not reply to things straight away.

Congratulations on getting married! Don't spend too much on the wedding! Save some for your stadium expansion ;). Good first win for me, still tweaking my team though, played all my players out of position but still got decent ratings.. Hey nugget, are you planning on spending your millions on improving team infrastructure or are you bringing in a major 70-100k signings and essentially blowing anyone from our conference's chance of promoting? Would be nice to know so i can set my season goals accordingly ;)

at the moment, ill be honest i am just assesing the teams in the league and then in a couple of games time i will see whats happening.

iv seen some of you guys sell of some guys as well (like fishy kangas just pocketing 1.4mil) So im sort of thinking that i will just keep all my money at the moment and then with like 4 games left ill go on a buying spree. With the amount of money that i currently have, i think that my current starting lineup will become my backup guys

the surprise team i thought last season was probably Red Paint, didnt seem to have real stars on his team but played off in the final so they will go ok again you would think.

As a whole i think the big 8 is a little stronger than the great 8 so the winner will probably come from that division, if the clontarif crocs hadnt gone bot it would have been even stronger.

As far as mvp goes my guy Eric Kennedy was ranked about fourth in scoring and rebounding last season before he got injured for three games and didnt qualify for a vote so hopefully he goes close. It looks like he will make u21 team so my focus this year is to keep training him and my bargain buy, 18yo mvp $5001 a week aussie rookie i got for 400k.

Any thoughts on nba playoffs, i go for the knicks so a little disappointed ,but on a brighter side the spurs could get rolled. A little embarrassed to say but have really been enjoying watching the nbl, as the season has gone on the quality has improved out of sight. The 2ot game last night was unreal, love to watch the breakers have the championship in their hands and then snatched away buy a huge trey on the buzzer to force double ot. Cairns have some guys that come up big in the clutch so hopefully they get the job done in New Zealand

yea i have just been checking out your team pretty closely and saw that guy, hes a great pick up for you.

I think that it might be my new buy against your new buy tomorrow night, which will be pretty interesting if it happens. My guy is only an 18 year old superstar $4879, and i got him for 500k, so youve done much better. Im looking to pick up another one of these guys hopefully. Feel free to put him back on the market and ill take him off ya hands haha ;P

And yea i agree, the nbl has actually been not bad lately. I didnt get to see that game but from what iv heard it was awesome. I would also love it if cairns could get up.

Fishy is right, Red was definitely the surprise last season, I checked out his roster again, he doesn't look as strong this season, his big men are solid but seems to lack depth and strength at the perimeter positions.. Good pick-up for you Kanga, he has good potential too. My point guard barely missed out on U21 last season and his salary massively jumped to 54k this season, was not expecting it and he's choking my finances. Only reason I'm selling off my players :/. Good luck on Eric making U21, mllama has a pretty strict selection policy and the guys in ABBL and a handful of teams from Div 2 always team up with him to train REALLY good prospects. Don't watch the NBL at all, but CP3 > Lakers, he makes me a happy man. Great 8 looks really weak.. who's our pick to come out on top? Also who's our dark horse/fav pick for Big 8? Apart from the obvious (cough nugget).
