Yes as soon as you inform the local GM, and of course no transfers between of the both teams.

me and my dad have a account in the same household and its ok if you dont make transfers

Let your local GM know of this.

generally speaking it is okay provided you 2 don't make any dealings with eachother in the game e.g don't transfer between the 2 accounts, etc
