its there as an option, but how efficient it is depends on the team that wants to use it.

just like there are buses, trains and taxis, u decide which is the right one for u to get u to that destination.

i personally would stick to 1 or 2 position training, cos its the most efficient for my team atm.

So i was asking anyone had tested its efficiency?

Based on your bus-train logic, why there is NO option for team-train Shot Block/Ball Handling, etc. It doesnt make sense...

your right there is no team training for shot blocking or ball handling.

that question would have to be answered the by BB or Gm's.

I actually just tried the team training for passing because my guys are aweful at passing overall. It only made one guy get to a higher level in passing, so I probably won't try that anymore. I actually thought it would be like free throws where all my guys get trained 48+ automatically, but it still went on the minutes they played, just all five positions minutes were counted. so you are right, its not worth trying.

Well look at it this way, team training allows you to train 15 minutes with a full 48 minutes each.
1 position training allows you to train 3 players with a full 48 mintues each but with more efficiency.

The question is whether 15 players would get trained more overall than the 3 players. I suspect that they would, because although it might take 3 weeks to make a player pop in team training (maybe longer) if 1 player pops (that had 0 sublevel) that means all 15 players would have popped. So it improves 1 player slower, but improves the whole team quicker.

Yeah, but look at it in a different way. It trains the whole team quicker, true. But even if you want to have your team composed of players you trained yourself, you don't train them all at the same time... Specially because they're not 18 or 19 forever, so you need to use the time when they're most eager to improve to give them most of their training. With team training you'll spread pops to the whole team but I don't think you'll make a big player in the midst of it. Not to mention that different positions require different skills...

Maybe useful now and then, but not a reasonable long term training plan, at least from where I stand

I would like to say that given the oporunity of training only the players that have 48+ min gives an interesting possibility.
If you a week like this one that has only 2 games you get only 5 players over the 48 min mark, so you train only 5 giving them a bigger chance of getting a pop.Depending on the sublevel i think you could get some results if you wanted to even the skills a bit but have to agree on the long-term results.
Never used passing as a team training only rebounding and i got 4 pops in 2 weeks but i supposed that they had big sublevels.
