I see you subscribe to the USA Elite strategy of low rebounding (and jump shot) builds. Solid players but I won't be bidding as I like both of those stats too much. Good luck with the process and I hope you find a way to make a tasty burger involving fish.

haha. You know...it is a coincidence I had low rebounding and jump shot. I went after things like IS, DR offensively ...and then whatever else they had, fine. OD was important to me as well. I need to figure out what I want to do and I don't know how long that will be. I guess I could have added pieces here and gave it a shot at some point but, eh. I know I may be stuck here for years and years, scrapping and clawing when I can have more fun elsewhere.

Maybe build a RnG team. What's more fun than shooting 3's all game then losing in the playoffs to a good inside team anyway? Almost nothing. Except for being that good inside team. Speaking of which ...be a good inside team is my tip.

Times are changing though! I know quite a few people, including myself, that will be building teams that can run Princeton offense. My original plan was to start doing that this season but that obviously changed a little.

I think we will see in the coming seasons that any team can win it. 2-3 defensively has really become a good defensive tactic if used right because it forces your guards to do more inside, and if you don't have that then a good LI team won't win against 2-3. Just look at the championship this season. Technical Fouls could not have run it any better. In fact, I was wishing he would go M2M but he didn't and I had to adjust.

What kind of fool would seriously think Princeton could work?

Oh. ;)

True about the 2-3 zone. It is noticeably better than it was, which i think is a good thing. I will definitely build a different team next time around.

I think the only way I'll ever do that is down the road if people come to a consensus that outside offenses have become superior and start to run RnG and Motion in 90% of upper tier league games.

yeah, which I just don't see happening. There are only a handful of teams that ever win that way. I think we might see some more push the ball tactics to take away the 2-3 zone, but in the long run, I still think inside is going to be the tactic of choice.

Time to wish everyone a warm welcome as they get promoted or demoted to the Div II that will make you a great coach, or an old bald person who pulls out all their hair in trying to promote out of here.
