England 78 - 79 Estonia

We fall short in the quarter-finals by 1 point to Estonia. Wes Fairclough carried the team with 44 points but as no-one else managed double figures it was going to be tough to win. An away tie at this stage of the season is always going to put you as the underdog, but we almost battled through.

Go and vote in the poll on testudo's post for the game MVP (not that its a hard choice).

We move on to next season. I would like to thank the managers of this season's squad, one of the most successful seasons the England U21s have had. It was a great team and an unlucky game shape update has cost us going further than ever before. I would also like to thank tesudo who has done a fantastic job as assistant this season with great opponent scouting, tactical analysis and off-site work to help the U21 setup.

I will begin scouting for next seasons team. If you have a player aged 20 or younger that you don't see called up to the squad at some point in the next week or so, get in touch so I can add them to the database.

A cruel way for the season to end, but what a terrific campaign it has been. Congratulations on an excellent season and I'm already looking forward to seeing what next season brings!

Mate this hits me right in the feels! Maybe the best u21 squad I’ve been a part of.

Great team to manage and really fun players to use. Thank you to all the managers for creating such great players! Congratulations to Wes Fairclough and Machinehead on MVP of the season. You can all now see how impressive he is for a 21 year old player!

Thank you mate! Had some problems with his game shape, but eventually he could pick the pace. Really glad to see he delivered :)

I think this is one of the most exciting prospect (potential wise) that I have trained, since Ken Greene and Feeney Sutherland.

Congratulations you two for a great run at the consolation tournament. So close that last match, but overall i think it was a really good season.

Regarding the NT:

* Vycka, do you have any thoughts on how the season went? We only finished 5th in our group, but it looks like we had some tough opponents which made it a difficult task. Just hoping you could write up a quick report for people like myself who didn't follow the season closely.

* Would you be interested in taking on an assistant next season, or would anyone volunteer to write some match reports and other community engagement? It doesn't have to be a massive effort, but I'd enjoy reading a quick update each week if someone would be interested.

* In the last scrimmage we only picked eight players, was that tactical or a mistake? My understanding is 12 players are usually picked to give the most teams a merch boost and a chance to see their player get a few minutes of playing time.

* It's been mentioned that you called up Christopher Cummins (42675590), who is a 36 year old with $106k salary. He last played for the NT in season 54 (August 2021), where he played 4 mins. He hasn't been a serious NT player for at least five seasons. By calling a player up to the squad you get to his skills, and by chance he is owned by the team you are playing in a relegation battle. On the surface that seems a bit suspect, is there a reason he has been called up now?

I don't think so you did not follow closely,I see you spend here loads of time so at least admit that! every report takes time and preperation. Season is not over officialy,but I could give my 1hour time for you to explain everything In details,than you have clue what's going on more. I'm more into chatting In Pm with everyone ,also If you have questions or doubts about anything you could pop In there too. I don't like to much make dramas on forums. If yiu Intresting In any role feel free to drop pm.
Every NT coach has advantage,and everybody uses advantages , You looking more for probs than subs In NT I see so I start with Probs ;
We have changing our generation ,I'm the coach on that deadline. Every experienced manager could notice our Nt level is average,Reach medal for us dream come true now. We never had Good BIG's . Back in the days was: Luke Innes - he's monster and that showed all HOF stats.
Ernesto Corral back many seasons was very solid player. I had him at the end of his peak and know him how was Important.Even he wasn't very good at Nt level.
Hank Easton - was in NT for seasons,but his level was below average.
Barral , he never were key player + he's to aggressive.. and now turning 34.
We lost Needham , Marichal , Greene 35 next season. Banuelos most ff all season had bad GS that not even put him In squad.
All those key players / starting lineup players is losing skills. Generation changing and that's for me the most Important now to put them In right trainings and achieve maximum. As I mentioned seasons ago would be great volunteers who can buy English players and train them for NT. We lost Stinklemons and Lidl who were growth very important players for us. I made commitments for myself to growth 3 top class players. When I speak about top class it means not average or solid,but something extra. Like chinese creating for their NT. Especially when now we have Utopian teams Is easily to buy our national team players and train them and make profit or whatever you decide.

Subs : Check the squad 23-27yo that's our future. let's say If from next season you buy 19yo. with high potential and at least 55tsp. could create something Intresting and make that generation In next 5-6 join NT we could build something higher and better and than we could expect reach second stages and PO. But that means need to sacrifice 2years IRL of training. Who are willing to do that? Some highers countries with more users has farms and they do all job.
3 super high potential top players coming up In 4seasons and they must look absolutely amazing if they follow training plan!

Review this season 2/10. I always have high standards and It disappointed for myself especially after last seasons,but have to accept reality
Is not club You can buy player for missing gap and make it perfect.
Against Hungary - Tie vs normal . and results is you can see. We were dominating PG/SG/PF/C literally all positions except SF and lost -14. Ridiculous.
Austria - got Crunch from them, If look at the stats first question Is How? as You can see we need also have some luck 🍀
Estonia last game - 2min to game was draw and even we couldn't beat them crunch vs normal.
