What are the two leading candidates going to do about the disconnect of the established members.

Hi folks, you probably don't know me but I am entering the U21 discussion.

I like many others think it's dumb that the same group of people run the team over and over, season after season. A new face but the same group of guys and even worse the same result. That result being, no gold. That is unacceptable. In fact, looking at the championship match this past season there's no way our roster should have lost but with poor gameplanning and tactics we got destroyed and took silver.

I don't know if I have a shot, heck.. I really don't know if I will even get a vote. But those of you who do see this and this message hits home I hope I can get your support. Let's do away with the "single party" system where these guys just choose one of there buddies to be the next coach to ultimately fall short.

America needs a change and the change starts here!!

Supetenor. And anyone else registered but did not make a speech. I ask the same questions to you, that I asked to the 2 other candidates of the “single party”.

I also ask a follow up different question: is it single party still when 1 of the guys is literally from a different country?

Your speech is actually fairly accurate. I have felt that way for the larger part of 10+ seasons too.

I think wardo might be asking is what will be done to get more players to train their beasts in a manner which fits the preferred build.

Yes how will you demonstrate by publicly messaging the lower leagues and saying they can't have top USA players just by tanking and taking the easy way out.

I am not going to say the entire problem if its not fix by the time I am running for the under 21 then I will fix it.

What about the teams that legitimately aren't good?
How will you differentiate between who you... correct me if I am wrong here... Want the u21 coach, whomever it is, to Publicly out, and ostracize (which is against BB rules. 3 of my forum bans were for doing something similar to that)?

This is the exact attitude that keeps many, many managers from participating in training players for the U21 team.

I've said it before on the forums but my first, and second, and third experience with the U21 trainers/manager was them insulting me for wanting to try and win instead of tank and train (as they suggested I do).

Ivess:

It has never been my intention to encourage a manager to "tank and train." If I have ever come across this way I apologize. It is not the U21's responsibility to dictate what level of success a manager should aim for on his team. We simply try to reach out and help them train players for the U21 team. I know many managers that prefer to tank and train, but I also know a variety of managers that are able to train for the U21 and still maintain success. So it should never be a U21 staff member's responsibility to tell a manager what to do with their team. Rather they should offer advice should the manager choose to accept it. I apologize for the three times this has happened to you, and I promise that I will personally talk to all my staff members to ensure this does not happen while I am manager.
