Yeah I better promote. Gutierrez and McIntyre take up a chunk of how much I have to pay in salary. Retooling and replacing the older guys on my team will be a problem.

One tip on getting better: managing game shape and enthusiasm (such as TIE'ing against me tomorrow lol). Joking aside, it also help to have some luck on your side as well.

I think if I finish second in the division with a solid record I have a shot at promotion, but likely not. It would just be a season up and then back down for me I think as the teams in II are just a lot stronger than mine is now. I only really have one trainee that I can play in games that matter at this point, but the second is coming along slowly. I try to TIE as many games as possible, but it's tough in games I have a questionable trainee in and facing a decent team at the same time. I hope I can beat my cup opponent this week, I really want to try to make it a couple more games but that attempt is probably going to hurt my enthusiasm. Out game should be interesting but we both have players out injured, so who knows how it will turn out. I am confident that barring a huge rash of injuries on your side that our playoff matchup will go your way.
Speaking of enthusiasm, what's the highest you can realistically hold from week to week? I know at some point it seems to degrade as fast as you can get it up by doing two TIE games a week. I have been TIE in nearly every game the second half of the season for a few years now, but I know it's not even worth building that high early because you hit that cap, I just don't remember/know where it is.

My best two young players are 30k each, and I expect Robinson to skyrocket in price next year with the training he's already hit. I would wish you good luck in our upcoming match, but I would not really mean it, so here is to hoping it's at least a decent game, and we all the training minutes week need out of it.

I feel the same way about promoting: I would probably relegate the season after.

The highest enthusiasm level I can remember having is 13 (I think). You would have to be in the Cup and TIE all 3 games that week to do so.

Our game seemed to be a defensive stalemate. I'm glad about the win, but it probably would've been boring to watch.

For what it's worth, I hit 14 enthusiasm after tonight's game. Since I'm no longer in the Cup, the highest I'll be able to get is 12.

On Thursday, if you look at a line-up for a future game, and let us know where your enthusiasm is at then, I at least would be curious. But I don't think it'll be 14.

Oh yeah, there's no way it'll stay at 14. I'm sure it'll drop to 11 or 12.

I certainly don't envy you (for what it's worth, I recognize the team you faced in tonight's game). And you got an injury to one of your best players. As long as you get a decent playoff spot.
