Anyone think it's about time we start compiling a list of NT-worthy players from the US? I would suggest that now would be a perfect time, as the salaries have just been updated. As there are about 10 players in the NBBA that have a weekly salary above $7k, we could start by compiling a list of everyone above 6k or 7k.

As Canada and Australia have already started to look at these things, we should jump on the ball before we get left behind.

Anyone else have any thoughts/suggestions?

I wonder how this will work for NT scouting. Will there a search tool that NT managers can use or are we supposed to keep a list of players as a country for the NT managers to choose from? I guess we'll find out soon. Anyone know how this works with NT's in hattrick?

I agree, I think I have a future center prospect.

Just to start getting namesdown...
There is a guy in my series(786793) with a salary over 6000.

I was pretty certain that in HT there were volunteer scouts for each position, and the top players were saved in an off-site NT Database (though for some reason I'm suddenly having doubts about my accuracy here). I'm sure that there was public tracking in the forums for 17yo youth pulls for the future U20s...

Since it seems that salary is a better indicator of overall skill in BB, I thought it easier to track simply by salary before asking a manager what his player(s)'s specific skills are. As there are relatively few highly-skilled players, the TL is rather scarce when searching for players who may be NT material...

A quick check of the top 5 leagues in USA netted the following:

PG [have yet to find a great example of a PG]

SG (367430),(342339)

SF (341465)

PF (342011),(343168)

C (341613), (341961), (367516), (341650), (341643), (367671), (342630), (367437)

The problem with this is that the "Best Position" of a player could be listed completely counter to what his skills dictate, so there may very well be a good center buried at SF, or a great PG at SF, etc. This list also only contains players with a salary above 7k (I think). Eleven players is rather deep, but I assume we'll need to go under the 7k mark to find a full roster of NT worthy players.

Also, if someone sees a player not on this list, feel free to add them ;)

Edit: Added Juice's centers.

I know. I just drafted a 6'11" shooting guard with respectable rebounding. Of course he has atrocious shot blocking... :-)

yeah the heights make for some funny best positions.

my recently drafted 7'1" shooting guard and 6'2" center sure are going to look funny on the court.

Of those two players you listed from my team (both centers), they are very inside skill oriented and wouldn't be good options other than center. If there's not any better rounded/shooting power forwards and we're going to play look inside or low post they might be good power forwards though.

We've got to have some point guards out there.

Sorry, I thought I got them. Edited in now. We're quite center-heavy.
