No surprise at all on Day 2 of D III.4. Cresleys gave real hard times to Booshers, but couldn't avoid the loss at OT. Booshers are easily the best defensive team of the league so far. Tachneko (2-0) is keen to turn things around and to become a contender again. High-Flyers put a great effort against Hawks in the second half reducing the 36 pts. gap to 13, but it was too late and they are heading home with empty hands. Magic and Cleveland both played with inside focused strategies and the game was more like a battle of centers. Cleveland won at OT, giving heartbreak to Magic, whose current standing shouldn't reflect their real capacity.
Illusion defeated Investors with ease on the highest scoring game of the day (121-108) They are the team to beat on Great 8. Goats, busy with injuries, keep on winning. Dragons (0-2) should find a way to replace Smiley. Gavno reminded us what kind of a team they are with their awesome 3rd quarter performance against Steppers.
Player of the day was Jose Ramirez of Junior Knicks. Spanish center was the leading actor on their 109-94 win against Bangers with 27 pts and 15 rbs.
League will continue after a Cup break, and two teams will suffer their first loss as Booshers host Tachenko and Illusion host Junior Knicks on Saturday. These 2 games are gonna be a real test for the teams.

Yes my hat goes off to a very tough Marietta Magic team it seems we always have close games. He has an incredible inside presence with Sean Ryan and that Moshoeli guy rebounds are hard to come by and I have a decent rebounding team. His center and my center basically evened out Ryan had 19 boards and 20 points while my Center Knez had 17 boards and 24 points. I think the difference came down ultimately to turnovers as Marietta had 28. I must say that is not like the Magic so I am not sure what happened there? Anyways the magic are one beast of a team and I don't look forward to playing them at his place any time soon. My game against the Booshes was TIE'd with the realization that his team and mine on equal enthusiasm and them playing at home probably would not have come out any different had I CT'd him soooooo the TIE was on. It did cost me in my attendance this last home game with nearly 4200 empty seats but you got to do what you got to do. Good luck to all on Saturday and I hope to introduce another big man to the Cleveland fans real soon. We will see!

with the possible addition of another big man you might have hell of a frontcourt.

Yeah, I felt blessed that despite starting SG Teddy Titus in the paint instead of my actual PF Titus Harvey, suffering another devastating blow to my starting lineup (down 2 starters now), we still managed to pull off the victory.

However, I'm grounded by the very fact that he really only had Braden helping his team out. His Center was doing a fantastic job on the boards but outside of Braden, he wasn't getting much in help scoring. Overall, it was an odd game for the both of us. I'm definitely going to be very afraid of what the dragons bring to the table next time I see his team.

And, the irony is that I did not play CT, I went normal, and STILL lost by only one in OT. Why my team did not foul in the last :20 is beyond me.

I don't think I'll have too tough of a time against the Junior Knicks, after all they are just the juniors.

LOL well I would like to think another big man would help. I primarily train guards so I usually buy my big men. Yeah I know I am strange most train big guys but I like the challenge.

Well done, Cleveland. The Magic are unfortunately struggling again early on. Any more losses like this and I may have to just blow up the team and start over.

LOL I don't think you need to blow up your team and with that new guy you just picked up let me just say I am very glad I played you before that acquisition. I think we unintentionally have a great rivalry and to be honest I don't know how I beat you but I think those days are very few ahead.
