Nah not watching eurobasket

With Chumunga on the rise stimulated by their outlandish spending spree, HA might go the other way and tank the rest of the season, selling a few players and doing just enough to avoid the relegation zone.

Could this be HAs new masterplan?

Big game tonight which ultimately could give one team the all important home court advantage come the championship best of 3 games

The Magnificent Glenelg Tigers versus The Frightening Soth Brisbane Vultures.

The winner deserves to start Championship favourite.

Im a big GT admirer but gees this games played at the EMP arena.

GT to win in double overtime

Thought those of you who arent in the Fishbowl PL may enjoy reading this...Yodabig did a writeup on each league heading towards the playoffs and here were his thoughts! I personally think HA is a better chance then this!

II.2
A four horse race here with Hopelessly Addicted talking himself down but we know he isn't afraid to make bold moves and has spent his way to victory before. Glenelg Tigers are the form team and looking at their league and PL results aew clearly a step above the typical division II standard. Drunken All-Stars have a massively expensive roster and make a lot of smart moves. Finally South Brisbane Vultures would be in the ABBL now and you wouldn't if not for having their best player injured 2 minutes into the relegation game three. This one is tough to call but I would be betting on Glenelg.
Glenelg Tigers 40%
Hopelessly Addicted 10%
Drunken All-Stars 30%
South Brisbane Vultures 20%

Interesting analysis by the great Yoda not too far different from what I been suggesting on this forum for a while.

Not trying to put any pressure on GT who have yet to pull the final right strings but if they were to I have them at an %80 chance, with SBV a %18 chance, DAS a %1 chance and HA and the rest of the league combined a %1 chance.

Buzzer Beater is a bit like the 2 mile Melbourne Cup where often the winning move doesnt occur until afterthe clocktower in the home straight, The real race for survival and promotion begins in II.2 from tomorrow morning.

Interesting to note the PeaceNroll has his 3 best players on the market.

How tight is it between 3rd and 7th in Big 8 with I reckon the 7th finishing team having a better chance of survival than the team finishing 6th

Good luck to all

Any chance you might be able to post Yodas wrap up of the other 3 div 2 leagues on this forum as well, or better yet get Smeltz and Yoda a yapping on this forum

shhh dont tell'em! yeah i got my top 3 economy ruiners on the tl. Ive gone fishing although if they dont sell thats not gonna be a problem. Im satisfied with their performances but these guys tend to be a little bit too aggressive to be my starting players.

Not to be a spoilsport but it seems unlikely they will sell as they are grossly overpriced.

Here is the write up of all the leagues by Yoda as requested sir...

II.1
adams guns have a very easy road, almost everyone in the Big8 is tanking or semi-tanking. Really JW is his only rival but if I was him I would PON/PON the first two rounds. The Great 8 is much tougher with Da Fat Boy Slim having a Smeltz like team this season, however there are two thorns. Learvins are a Naker-like team with GS trained veterans that are really tough so whoever ends up second has a hard time. Cowboys have incredible defence and great team, they also have a fortune banked so it will be determined by the quality of the guys they buy for the playoffs.
Odds
adams guns 50%
DFBS 30%
Cowboys 20%

II.2

My league has a lot of teams that still have a chance but really it would be amazing if it wasn't one of the top five. Chelsea Seagulls have the best record but are well known for having their team constantly injured most seasons, very unlikely to stay healthy. VictoriaMages, well we all know how tricky he is and he has an incredible C, SF and guards. Very tough to stop.Stone Slashers have a poor record but can't be counted out, just upset Haggards last game. Haggards themselves have experience, are well managed and have the star power to win. Aussie Pride also are run by a very smart manager and have an excellent squad. I would rate Vios but he has rules himself out for at least another season.
Haggards 35%
VictoriaMages 30%
Chelsea Seagulls 20%
Aussie Pride 10%
Stone Slashers 5%

II.4
This one is tricky. West Island Tigers have by far the best record but can never beat Western Titans. There is also one of the greatest teams in Aussie BB history The M's strike back who could well have hidden millions to dip into at any time. Finally Hadders Heros have also been around since season three and have been to the ABBL before. Very tough call.
The M's strike back 30%
West Island Tigers 25%
Western Titans 25%
Hadders Heros 20%

So according to me it will be adams guns, Glenelg Tigers, Haggards and The M's strike back.

Naturally I would like to be wrong about this.

Thanks Tremell,

Yodas posts are always worth reading

If it gives anyone any heart, I think from memory about this time 2 seasons ago astute judges didnt rate me in the top 4 of the conference that my team was in.

When I made the purchases that I did, there was a feeling that Id only done so with the intention of holding them for a few weeks so as to avoid relegation
