Hold on.....I think I just got called a REDNECK! Well yeah, that's pretty southern culinary on the skids, though this particular grub combination is ubiquitous with not just the crackers but with all those with deep southern roots.
Of course you are one if those who live in "the metro", that combination of gridlocked highways that make up Atlanta. You guys want to act as if your somehow ABOVE being in the south, but your not. Especially when one takes into account the number of Waffle House, Krystal burger (gross) and Chic fil A establishments thst abound. I mean I like an original with waffle fries and a Coke, but there are other places to eat!
Actually I love me some of the metro, unless it's after three on a weekday and you got to get from let's say Marrietta to Lawrenceville. I mean the unbridled homogeneous nature of the area truly is the blue print for the resf of the major cities of the south. I literally think I could get dropped cold into Atlanta, Charlotte, Columbia, Greensboro or Raleigh and I would be hard pressed to figure out which town I would be in. Ok, downtown separates you from the rest, and OG 97.9 is mind blowing good, and one cannot deny the cultural impact the metro has had across generations musically . But don't think just because you built some inner city spots for pickup soccer games that you all of a sudden have become New York south or something like that.
Then again I just got one name for you to remember from the past to put you back in your place, but let's have the man who wrote a song referencing him to put all of this somewhat in perspective.
WARNING: some not very nice language in this one. But this community is smart enough to mature enough I think to understand this songs real meaning.
