Knicks are looking alright. Melo's still doing what he always does, Porzingis is 7 foot 3 and you can't teach that, and whilst Rose still isn't near his prime, he has been more consistently healthy in recent times and able to contribute. Can't see them doing any better than Conference Semi-Final this season and that's if they get hot in the play-offs, but they're just one good Free Agency period away from contending.

Of course, this could be said about a lot of teams in the league right now. There's good teams and there's bad teams, but most of the bad teams still have at least one reason to feel optimistic about their franchise even if results won't come this season. Be it the 76ers and 'The Process' Embiid (not to mention Simmons who last I heard could be back before 2017), Miami and Whiteside, Minnesota and the Wiggins-Towns duo... all of these teams are 4-10 right now yet have at least one piece of the puzzle that is a good line-up. The only team that really looks boned is, unfortunately for Bogut, the Mavericks.

A couple of teams that I slept on and are doing better than expected are the Bulls, who I thought were going to suffer for a lack of outside shooting between Rondo and Wade, but have made it work thanks to Wade improving in that department, and the Lakers, who have suddenly come alive post Bryant with a new approach to basketball and fresh faces. Okay, so they got blown out by the Warriors last night. They're still 8-8 and have a win over said Warriors from earlier...

PS: Cannot believe the NBA didn't do anything about the blown call at the end of the Raptors @ Kings game... should've been over-ruled and turned into a tie.

I have only just returned to watching the NBA after a 20 year break (yeah, you heard right). I was (still am) a Jordan fan who didn't see the point post-Jordan.Love the game (play and coach it still) but NBA post-Jordan...meh lol

I have watched many games this past month and a half trying to decide whether to keep following my formerly beloved bulls or start afresh with a new team.

Watching the Timberwolves go down to the Warriors today I liked what I saw in the Timberwolves. Positive future with Wiggins/Towns/Lavine...

I was surprised to find that the 2016 Bulls look ok.

I must say, plugging the defensive hole Green has left, the Warriors still look so dangerous.

I'm a big Harden fan...from a team I once followed as a backup on account of Olajuwon lol

Yes Jordan and Olajuwon are top five of all time in thier respective positions.

I grew up watching the Bulls vs suns finals as a kid. I went for the suns, still do lol.

Yeah. Barkley and Jordan had some great moments on court.

Well, i think i will stick with my bulls. Butler has some game. Rondo and wade still getting it done. Lopez's inside game is very good. Valentine will eventually come into his own. Its hard watching a bulls team with no number 23 but i will eventually get over it. Lol. Hell, when i saw mj sitting courtside at one of his hornets games i almost converted to the hornets. Haha.

But...i will stick with the bulls.

Some great talent in the league. I should have got back into watching it long ago. Never saw Kobe play a single game. Sad really.

Post Jordan era was okay too. It was dominated by kobe, Duncan and shaq.

What do you think of LeBron? Is he a 1a compared to the goat?

Tbh i have only seen him a couple of times. Yeah he is a superstar but i wilk hold my judgement until the playoffs. I want to see how much and in what way he lifts come playoffs. I have obviously heard how well he did last season and clearly he is a great player...but i want to see it for myself.

...but im (almost) certain i wont hold him in mjs company. Lol

Looking forward to seeing these 'superstars' play this season.

I watch durant, curry, williams, westbrook etc and there are some seriously good players.

Still trying to familiarise myself with who is who...and loving it.

What about you, Koops... Jordan v James?

I need to add this though, Koops.

I watch the current superstars and apart from flashes of magic, none of them have mjs presence. I dont find myself getting excited, feel the anticipation that was always felt watching any Bulls game when jordan played. Maybe im biased. Lol

Definitely biased for sure lol

LeBron is right up there but Jordan's six from six will always be the talking point when comparisons are made.

Who's Williams? You added him with durants and westbrooks. Speaking of westbrook, he's averaging a triple so far. Never done since the big o.

Yeah pretty amazing to average triple-double. I still havent seen him play this season. I did hear something about him putting up huge shots each night and a low fg% But there will always be critics if this is true. Regardless...a triple double is special. Averaging it is ridiculous.

Loved watching my bulls take out cavs today. A tired looking cavs in the second half To be fair. But Rondo with a triple double and gibson killing them inside.

I was treated to a nice windmill dunk from james yesterday in their loss to the clippers. Steal and dunk by lebron was a nice glimpse.

Btw...the clippers are such a good team. Very impressdd

Klay Thompson gets a lazy 60 points in only 29 minutes, sits out the last quarter.
