Booshes is right. I had a guy last year - most of you might remember - a PF who had a horrible penchant for fouling and creating injuries. He was most certainly a physical player.

The Physical Attribute is True. Check out Carmona on my team. He is a stud when he does not foul out. He often has games where he fouls out in 20 minutes or less. The BB guys say that the physical guys also benefit from that as well. Not sure how. But if you want to see the league leader in fouls check out carmona. Also he is near the top in FT attempts so it seems to run both ways.....

Just curious here guys, but what's the stamina of the players being mentioned? My guess is that this is simply part of the stamina factor. This game is essentially one big algorithim and as such must operate within the known variables. It could be that the perceived physicality is a factor of the player's post position skills and that a player who has a penchant for fouling out simply does not have the game shape or stamina to keep up with they player they are matched up with.

I think that explanation is much more likely than a hidden physicality factor. But who knows.

You could be right. Their stamina is mediocre and inept.

good call I would tend to agree with the assessment on stamina being a large factor.

As the weeks go by competition in Div III.4 is only getting tougher.

Let's start with an upset. Cresleys are on a roll and this time they beat one of the biggest contenders, Gavno: 94-81. Gavno has a big game on Saturday and TIE'd but on the other hand they played with their regulars. Gavno's 65 rebounds against Cresleys 39 was almost impossible to handle but 19 TO and 2/16 behind the 3 point line were the main reasons they have lost. A couple of weeks ago Cresleys were considered to be the team to relegate but now they have the wins and they have the hope.

After long long weeks Illusion is back to the top of Great 8. Their visit to Portland was easier than expected and ended up with a win over Rip City: 90-107. Greageaor Avalos was the star of the game with 32 pts and 24 rbds. Rip City now feels the danger of relegation more than ever.

The most exciting game of the day was between Cleveland and Chicago. Cleveland TIE'd and benched some starters, Goats also benched Partridge. In such a close game, you can't afford 4th quarter TO's and this is exactly what happened to Goats.

After suffering their first loss on Saturday, Hawks didn't want to lose another and took their job seriously against Knicks. 92-79. Knicks are way better than they were last week and ready to win some more bball games.

Steppers could pull an upset unless they faded away on the last quarter. Experience was the difference maker on that game and Booshers took care of the job: 107-87. Mercan’s 10 pts and 7 rbds in 19 minutes is a clear indication of his explosiveness.

Dragons could get their first win @ Marietta but when you play against 5 players plus 14.000 fans you better give your best on the 4th quarter: 117-106.

Tachenko beat Bangers 91-69 thanks to their great defensive effort. Beavers resisted with 28 pts and 21 rbds (10 OR) but didn't get any help from his teammates.

Flyers looked sharp against Knicks and hold on the 5th place: 101-85. Investors dropped to 6. Coach wasn't happy about his team's awful rebounding performance. He said "If they collect 30 more boards than you have, loss is inevitable" during the after game press conference. Top and bottom 2 seeds are locked in Great 8 but, there's just one game between 6th and 3rd seeds which makes every point extremely important.

There were some extraordinary performances on Tuesday. Among these Leo Woods of Flyers distinguished himself with 17 pts, 27 rbds, 11 asts and 6 blocks. Those are some sick numbers and make us forget his 6 TO's.

Inter conference play is over and Big 8 was the better looking side. Now it's time to heat up intra conferance rivalries. Big game on Saturday is Illusion @ Gavno. They will play for the homecourt in a possible Great 8 finals match up.

Karapaks, just the post game analysis along is worth fighting to stay up. But, like many, I am shocked as well. I was expecting to wake up to a 20 point loss. Did not expect to win this, especially after getting slaughtered on the boards.

Thanks guys.

By the way, 7-8 games can mean automatic relegation on our side. In some other divisions you can grab a play off spot with 8 wins. This is brutal.

Great Commentary.....

I must say the crossover was brutal (not that it gets much easier!).....The Booshes, Hawks, Teckendo, and Crazy's are superior teams that could win many div 3 titles in other leagues (based on the ones my buddies are in). The Magic and EC are absolute solid squads too! It is odd that the Hawks/Boosh side is stronger because both relegation series was one by our side! Good Luck the rest of the way!

I must give some props to the Booshes for providing Proc City with a professional PG rated banner! My best player fouled out in 22 minutes again! The game was close until Carmona fouled out. He needs a reversed spongebath from Tiger Woods

the interesting thing about the relegation battles last season is that the winners were Junior Knicks and Prov City Investors. The Junior Knicks, who have been pretty good went through a rebuild this season and are much weaker than normal. Divine Dragons have pretty much thrown their team to hell. Both of these factors have weakened the Great 8 side. And the three teams that relegated on the Big 8 side last season would all have been playoff contenders potentially had they been on the Great 8 side, including pyromaniacs who were much better than their record showed. So even though the relegation battles were won by the Great 8 side, they were pretty big upsets.
