Porat was proficient GS then I bought him off myself and apparently that hurts the GS still.

Not sure if I mentioned it earlier in the season but I did that about a month ago with Fournel. He dropped from 8 to 6 and then moved right back to 8 that Friday.

I think the safest thing to assume about the last week here is that Arizona is not going to loose their relegation series.

Very interesting Smallfries. I certainly could've done without that.

Its a wise and effective strategy to pickup up really good, but expensive players at the end of the season. Hopefully, it will not pay off.

We'll see in your PL game tomorrow. You' ve been to the NBBA before, so I'm thinking you either have a really good idea about how to get back or a really strong desire to. Either way, its troublesome

A really good idea to get to the next level is to buy big players at the end of the season. Super common because it worked, hence why they changed the gameshape rules. Checking around leagues/forums in these playoffs will give a good idea of how teams will suffer and to what extent.

This really bleeds down into many other things, including complete season management. I know I have had a couple of seasons where I figured to be competitive and would save money all season specifically to buy a big or two for the playoffs. If this won't be the case anymore:

1. Have to plan earlier. Bankroll may have to be higher in beginning/middle?
2. Transfer list will be heavier with heaveir prices more towards middle of season.
3. If you are training that season, you will miss out on weeks due to having to train gameshape for the playoffs.
a. more money because you would drop your trainer to train GS
b. team is less trained
4. Teams with more cash have to think earlier going forward and can't throw money at things right before playoffs.

I don't know...I am sure we could list dozens of things ...but it all should be interesting and could tweak the game in a bigger way than just thinking about the individual players being purchased.

I mean, the way I look at it, it will only really change the first game of the playoffs. If you can get through that first game with iffy GS for new players then you can train it back to a good competitive level for the big playoff games.

@Delta- I still wouldn't necessarily say Im a definite to win(especially against you and technical fouls). These additions were also made for my future, not just for the playoffs because next season I will be making changes regardless of winning or not. Also, I think these additions just make me equal to your team. So,yea, it does give me a "chance" but how bi it is I'm not sure. Ill have to get by the Pistons first.

And if you can manage to buy players before the training update before the final regular season game, that gives you an extra training update to recover GS. (Admittedly, that was this morning so this isn't useful *now* per se, but as a general strategy).

I've been looking for a 300k plus week player just to scare everybody, but the only ones that are available are free agents with an opening bid of $1,000,000. Just not worth it at that price.

I know a lot of you guys pretend not to scout but since there's still an average of $5000/week being spent on scouting, I'll go ahead and ask has anyone found anything special? I found a solid looking player but of course he's 19.
