It also doesn't change the fact that they actually take shots inside the "inside shot" area.

Since I'm kinda new at this...
...would it be better to rank a 18 year old 5 star / 2 potential / A- 6' PG...
...over a 5 star / 3 potential / A+ - 7' 3" C that is 19 years old?
Still getting a real feel on the training aspect of the game. Is the 18 / 19 difference that great?

True and I agree but for guards, skills like JS, JR is waaaay more important than IS.

I know it's true, but, if you can train JS for forwards and boost the IS (just like I do), why wouldn't you do it?

You said that it's not very essential to train IS for guards. I believe it's very important.

I just drag every single 1 or 2 potential player right to the bottom of my list. Even if he was a 6'0" SG A+ skills 18 years old who scored 40 points in his scrimmage, I just don't want to train a 6th man and he wont sell for anything. Maybe if I was a new team in a low division who just wanted a good player right now I might consider him.

Well I wouldn't be training IS at the expense of low OD.

But you could train IS while you train JS, and it has extremely low cost.

How fast does IS train when training JS for forwards? I don't think the statistics given in the speed training analysis is all that accurate. I've trained JS for wingmen for 11 consequtive weeks and never got a pop in IS.
