So you're saying IS doesn't help driving layups? This doesn't make sense. Layups are inside shots, are they not? Each scoring attempt must be influenced by either JS or IS.
All my guards have good handling and driving (pretty much on the same level), but the one with atrocious IS never makes layups and the others do.

AI, Parker example is just ridiculous! The fact that they can't score on the low post against tall players does not mean that they have low IS. It means that height is very important in match ups, which is totally disregarded by BuzzerBeater.

Ooohhh, I would very much beg to differ. I guard with even inept or so IS does indeed score more often than one with a lower IS, at least from my experience.

As some other posters said DR is the ability to create the shot, not to finish it.

I think that we all agree that big men need JS/JR (lesser extent) when they have to make outside shots. Why the guards should be deferent? It doesnt make sense. IS/JS/JR all responsible for the finishing abilities of the players compared to the opposite defenses. DR just gives the chance to the players to create there own shot, when a good pass that will put them on a prime position to score is not there. Simple as that.

I'm convinced that inside shot has nothing to do with driving layups in this game.

I agree - my PG with atrocious IS is living proof.

the engine doesn't take into account height, only skill levels. Height impacts oly training speed - your point is not relevant.

A driving lay-up takes into account both driving and IS but driving counts for more.

A BB (was it Charles or Mark ?) has clarified it once.

Which is not fair since, in reality, guards are way better at driving lay-up than big men...

Since when?? any proves??? Just assumptions, and probably bad naming of the skill. Still is not a coincidence that when you train it you train one on one, plus the fact that its the cheapest and the easiest skill to train...
