thanks, yeah that is my debate, i am thinking of focusing on training this season so OD might be a goer first. I have another 18y.o H.O.F big guy who will benefit from OD and Passing.

Whoa, got a real player here. Respectable in HA, PA and OD? Great trainee.

We have a 19y old with similar entry skills like this training for NT (HA and OD started at 6). First two seasons he is doing nothing else but 1 on 1 and OD, until OD gets to 12. Only then he starts with inside skills. I think this is the best course to go with all these crazy multiskill PFs populating best NTs. If some outside tactic like Motion emerges in a few seasons, we will also be set.

yeah i really like him, I paid a massive amount, way too much but really wanted to train someone from scratch.

I want passing and OD at 10-12 then hit inside skills.

If only he had JR also, he'd be even more perfect. But training those kinds of players is definitely fun!

If only he was 18...and maybe an inch or two taller :)

The starting build is as ideal as can be, and he doesn't have glaring weaknesses. I would probably turn him into an all-around guard or outside-based SF. Great trainee.

SF training fun...yeah, you must be a masochist.

They basically bounce from PG to C position and back for 8-9 seasons making you lose games in the process and when they are done, you get what...5 good seasons out of them? If you train them for NT, you get even less productive games from them.

I just convinced them they were guards until they were like 22, and then told them I was just kidding and now they need to train like big men. Many laughs were had. Heartfelt stories were exchanged. Suggestions of what I could do to myself abounded. Great fun! ;)
