Expect to spend a year in the game before your team is ready to be competitive without sacrificing its future

Which my first season in division 4 I was disappointed toss my cup game to focus on relegation series and rebuild my team to the youngest in my league. So far I have only one player from division 5 that stayed on my team he gets 10 rebound a game every so often. I have consistently maintain a competitive team from day one in division 4. I was in the 4th spot last season I met my goal and made the three spot this season. Now my goal is 3 or higher more preferably 2 or higher in my division my side of the conference. I know I can beat the 2nd team Dinkle Smurfs in my league playoffs if he continues to play base offense man to man. My team is only going to get better each season and salary is going to go higher. Plus I am about finish with my lower tier/luxury boxes. My next goal for the team is to complete lower tier to 500 seats and then work on bleachers and courtside seats. Like you said before finish higher priced seats first then go build lower price seats.

Heading on the right path so far. Are you?

So am I correct in understanding that I should just pick anyone recent/active in a high league level and see if they're willing to tutor rather than use the thread of people who signed up to be mentors? I noticed some teams linked in the mentor thread are now bots :p

I'd post in the thread before sending direct ingame emails, but that's just me.

Normally, I would too, but the thread's directions say to direct mail and not to post on the thread :/

You should join the USA offsite: http://s3.zetaboards.com/BuzzerBeater_USA_NT/index/

Mentoring new USA players is what we do! I recommend starting a club team diary so experienced USA managers can give you advice.

I don't know. They were pretty successful, there. I think they won as many championships as the Canucks have, after all.

+1. I'm still laughing about that one. With Bryant "big country" Reeves and Stu Jackson running the show i don't know how we won as many games as we did.

Welcome mate, and good luck in your future BB career :)

Be ready for a looong and slow paced game, and don't hesitate to ask for advice on help forums, you'll find the community to be very helpful.

Cheers
