Any comments on today's games? My conference looks surprisigly close. NWK is the strongest, Keyes Kops and Herman Griffin following closely, and then there is rest of us. All very close when it comes to game ratings. It is awesome. a lot will depend from manager's skills. Managing enthusiasm, game shape, using normal/crunch on specific games, and even use of tactic.

ok, finally time to fall back in standings by losing next 3 games. That means I can drop main squad (with one trainee) on cup games. Team from league III in next round for me

I don't get it. Why would you just tank 2 games in order to win a cup game? Can't you at least try and win 1 league game too?

I dont need to tank 2nd game. I WANT to. I know that its not my time yet to advance so I at least want some decent shot at draft. This means going for 7th place in our division. Its harder than I thought it would be. Turns out my team is pretty strong even with trainees at PG :D

Draft is overrated imo. Sure you can get amazing players out of it but the money you put into scouting is essentially wasted unless you get a great draftee. There's tons of great deals for draftees on the TL right after the draft.

I guess if you want a Canadian to train, though, the draft is the best way. I just don't think its worth it tho

I don't think its worth it too, but its fun. And that's what this game is about for me. I dont mind wasting some money and not improving my team if it gives me a bit of nice stress and anticipation during draft time. Besides, I am positive I can win relegation series, and that will add 2-3 games to my season :D
