Mid Season Power Rankings
SGP#1 WR#12 EricUnited
Once was #5, before Eric started the rebuilding button, which ousted NT-studded rosters. Dharmakeerti Kumar, Augusto Gomez and Simavi Duyu has been replaced by young cores Sandro Vuchelich and Ivan Jesic. Hard to imagine Eric could repeat their last season success after lost in the Cup semifinals, coincidentally after departure of Augusto Gomez.
SGP#2 WR#152 Compassvale United
No longer the old CPU, who relies on outside gunning to win games. Since the departure of Yeo Tse Hui and Rudi Kallas, CPU revamped their tactic to focus more on Tanasu Galeno, who enjoyed his best season output with 21.6ppg and 16.8rpg. Even lthough only relying on Galeno's solo play, CPU still standing tall at Great 8 top position.
SGP#3 WR#267 Shohoku Backers
One of the team that no manager likes to play with, knowing of big chance on bruises to injuries after match. Dmitri Sapsay and Kwek Jin Jin are now replacing New Bak Ku Teh duo Ahmad Islam and Lim Shi Xin for the fewest layup made in the their paints. The outside defense is also patrolled carefully, as they ranked #2 with 8.5spg after EU #8.7, but SHB is the better team overall, as they only allowed 4.9spg from their opponent, compared to EU 6.6spg. SHB is also #1 in team efficiencies rating.
SGP#4 WR#452 SaungHninPwint
Lead Singapore with the highest salary paid $921012, but team stats were average. The advantage of this team is on their manager brain, as he were excelling in guessing opponent tactic and quickly made adjustment to their team. SHP also very strong within the paint area, almost similar with SHB team but without the hardfoul and leg-tackling.
SGP#5 WR#519 Lionheart Jaguar
One of the dark horse which been on the talk around the league. After beating EU with FPW on the streetclothes, and the victory vs one-million-dollar roster SHP team, Lionheart Jaguar jumped 500 position from WR#1000+ to WR#519 this week. This team somehow finally united up, after some bitter moments of recent home losses, and Fan Pingwai 4 weeks injury.
SGP#6 WR#671 NEWBak Ku Teh Kings
Was a consistant top four in Big 8 conference, but suffer lots of losses in early season, which put them at sixth place in the standing. Pretty not a coincidence as their opponent started to dictate their driving and slashing game, forcing BKT to play their unusual game, shoot-jumpers. Ahmad Islam and Lim Shi Xin were still not like their old self after the last season playoff defeat to Shohoku Backers.
