And congrats on your win!

Bro Eric, first I wanna say thanks for your mail, I saw your mail this early morning & sorry for late reply.

Congratulation dude! You are the best manager in Singapore, you really did great job with suitable budget. I watched LHJ last 2 matches, your team shooting skills are good performance. I am still remember STN hold the this cup, that time my team balancing quite good. Now your team is better day by day Because of you. I wanna say again "Congratulation!" for your team, "Cheers bro!".

walamah.. what best manager lah, as you see i only lucky win by one FT, and very lucky as you and Eric both guessed i will play inside. But thanks a lot bro, I also learnt these tactic from you.

Mid Season Power Rankings

SGP#1 WR#12 EricUnited
Once was #5, before Eric started the rebuilding button, which ousted NT-studded rosters. Dharmakeerti Kumar, Augusto Gomez and Simavi Duyu has been replaced by young cores Sandro Vuchelich and Ivan Jesic. Hard to imagine Eric could repeat their last season success after lost in the Cup semifinals, coincidentally after departure of Augusto Gomez.

SGP#2 WR#152 Compassvale United
No longer the old CPU, who relies on outside gunning to win games. Since the departure of Yeo Tse Hui and Rudi Kallas, CPU revamped their tactic to focus more on Tanasu Galeno, who enjoyed his best season output with 21.6ppg and 16.8rpg. Even lthough only relying on Galeno's solo play, CPU still standing tall at Great 8 top position.

SGP#3 WR#267 Shohoku Backers
One of the team that no manager likes to play with, knowing of big chance on bruises to injuries after match. Dmitri Sapsay and Kwek Jin Jin are now replacing New Bak Ku Teh duo Ahmad Islam and Lim Shi Xin for the fewest layup made in the their paints. The outside defense is also patrolled carefully, as they ranked #2 with 8.5spg after EU #8.7, but SHB is the better team overall, as they only allowed 4.9spg from their opponent, compared to EU 6.6spg. SHB is also #1 in team efficiencies rating.

SGP#4 WR#452 SaungHninPwint
Lead Singapore with the highest salary paid $921012, but team stats were average. The advantage of this team is on their manager brain, as he were excelling in guessing opponent tactic and quickly made adjustment to their team. SHP also very strong within the paint area, almost similar with SHB team but without the hardfoul and leg-tackling.

SGP#5 WR#519 Lionheart Jaguar
One of the dark horse which been on the talk around the league. After beating EU with FPW on the streetclothes, and the victory vs one-million-dollar roster SHP team, Lionheart Jaguar jumped 500 position from WR#1000+ to WR#519 this week. This team somehow finally united up, after some bitter moments of recent home losses, and Fan Pingwai 4 weeks injury.

SGP#6 WR#671 NEWBak Ku Teh Kings
Was a consistant top four in Big 8 conference, but suffer lots of losses in early season, which put them at sixth place in the standing. Pretty not a coincidence as their opponent started to dictate their driving and slashing game, forcing BKT to play their unusual game, shoot-jumpers. Ahmad Islam and Lim Shi Xin were still not like their old self after the last season playoff defeat to Shohoku Backers.

SGP#7 WR#1156 Lions XII
Fairly consistent, even only relied to their big three FLW, CWX and MJT without much role player around them. Lions XII big three is Singapore best, as FLW is the best playmaker right now, CWX the best bigman (after SYJ & FSX retirement), and MJT is very good on defending quicker bigman. Sitting comfortably at Big 8 4th position, they need more bodies to smoothen their big three's job.

SGP#8 WR#1315 Singapore Showstoppers
Being mediocre for few seasons, SS has revamped their front line, by giving away Noel Lima and replaced with younger Rudolf Dedyurin. SS still have the offensive powers which made them known of. With ex-BKT Giovanni Donnaruma paired with ex-Sonic Ang Kok Loong, made them one of the good shooting team in SBBL. The only problem is, they are on the top #3 with opponent 3point shot made, right after two worst team JJ Lim and Sengkang Punggol.

SGP#9 WR#1450 SG Young Guns
They seems already have the correct players to be the most powerful team in SBBL. However, losses at home to Lionheart Jaguar and SHP team made it questionable. Perhaps this coincides with their decision to release Lampros Tsartsaris, once were the multiskilled guard on the team. They need more toughness to stay in the tough Big 8 conference.

SGP#10 WR#2712 SingSing82
Probably the richest team in SBBL after Eric United. After sold their HOF trainee last season, SingSing hardly made any purchases. With their below mediocre performance, they are still able to sit on 4th place on weaker Great 8 conference.

Outside Looking in :

SGP#11 WR#3213 PhantoMech
Although sitting only at Big 8 Sixth position, this team always play very hard at their own homecourt, which explained why they are hard to beat. And with their recent search for multiskilled players, it won't be a surprised they could be a dark horse soon.

SGP#12 WR#4127 Flyer sonic
Regressing a lot due to some internal matters which lower down their performances. But they do have a project to strengthen their wingman position. And with YJS, PJL and LAW are aging, Sonics are in pressure as well to find a replacement.

SGP#13 WR#5614 Singapore Slingers BC
Sitting at last place in SBBL doesn't mean they are weak. Look at their match vs Lionheart Jaguar & Flyer Sonic. They do kick a$$.

Singapore Showstoppers stops Jaguar Champion momentum, win 104-92 as visitor.

Dejavu match, as if Lionheart Jaguar was EricUnited or SHP team, and Singapore Showstoppers was Lionheart Jaguar included their Princeton.

Two ex-SBBLers Giovanni Donnaruma and Ang Kok Loong, scored 29 and 24 points to crush down the S27 Tournament Champion Lionheart Jaguar , lead as big as 20 in the fourth quarter and earned a solid 104-92 win at National Stadium.

Before the game starts, there was a ceremony of the trophy announcement on Lionheart Jaguar National Stadium. Fans were very enjoyed the momentum, until the game starts and Jaguar looked as if they just back from a long vacation.

Seems like SS has done their homework very well, and 100% prepared well for their match vs Jaguar team, which effect has shown at the 3rd quarter, where their defense has limited Jaguar to only eight points. The 1-3-1 lockdown defense by manager Jem92 has proved very effective, and they didn't use Look Inside tactic which has been used most of the season.

Wawruch led Jaguar with 23 points but shot only 3/20 from 3point after sank 11/23 on last two games. Fan Pingwai had 11 points and 5 assists. Chan Ren Qing were all quiet with 12pts and 6 rebounds.

Meanwhile at Compassvale arena, SHB mounted back a 11 points deficit but fell short to CPU 82-86. A 3 pointer by Kwek Jin Jin cut it to 79-80, but Tanasu Galeno scored a basket and one, pulled it away to 83-79 and SHB ran out of gas and scored only a meaningless 3 pointer at the end. Even though the loss, SHB managed to deal some bruises to Kolumbas Limanavicious, who had to leave court after an elbow by Kwek Jin Jin. Tanasu Galeno led CPU with 26 points and 18 rebs.

And SaungHninPwint continue their free fall by losing to the Big 8 eigth place Slingers BC 97-81. Seems like the Slingers making habit to win on the road. Brian Seal led Slingers with 25 points and 18rebounds, Huo Xiangsong has 18 points.
