Week 5

Last week we played Scotland and got the expected victory with a 127-97, 30 point blowout. We'll call this one an all-around team effort. We had 7 guys with double digit scoring. We also out rebounded (36-33) and out assisted them (32-21) but no one had more than 7 rebounds and no one had more than 5 assists. In this game we had the upper hand on FG% (60%-48%) Steals (7-2) and TOs (5-16). So, in summary, a great team effort.

This evening we will face off against #20 Hong Kong. They are 3-1 having beaten #91 Malta, #95 Vietnam, and #86 Cyprus. (Nice schedule) Their loss was to #26 Suomi (Finland) by 13. They have a bunch of highly paid players and I'm sure they will be a tough test for us. The game is in Japan though which should hopefully help a little.
