69 TSP isn't bad, some deal breakers from my POV
1) He's never run 48+ all season.
2) His height puts him at a disadvantage for guard training.
3) His OD/ID are pretty soft for a 20yo.
3) Only completed 8 of 19 ASTs. Assist/TO ratio is 0.9.
3) Hasn't made a FT his entire career (marginal importance)

I have to give the trainer credit in that he got him when he was 19. You basically get a season and a half max training with this player for $350k. That seems a lot to ask for IMO for a player that will always be a season behind.

Some highlights for Sharkey are:
1) Only gave up 3 shots scored against him in 35 attempts (22 PP100)
2) Doesn't foul much. Only has 10 PFs in 178 mins. So I wouldn't classify him as aggressive.

IMO, it is more advantageous to get the Barbadian managers loading in max draft points and get them as much information as you can about draft strategy including scouting the 18yo's first so you can get the best potentials out of it.

An 18yo with SS potential or above is a better investment in the time and effort than this player. He'll likely never be much of a factor in U21 matches and isn't likely to make NT. That's not to say he should be cut, but if you're going to contact serious trainers, they either need a more realistic starting price or a younger/higher potential to work with. Great job keeping on top of all this BTW. Not meaning to sound like a buzzkill, just wanting to be real.

Judging by the minutes this season, it looks like Sharkey is no longer a priority. If you compare last seasons mins. to this season they are worlds apart. I can't say I blame him.

I was just contacted about an offer on my Bahamian trainee, Gale-Sewell, who is also no longer in a top training slot. He's sort of in the same boat as this player but about -10 TSP. I paid $290k for him as a 19yo/MVP save on the TL. I'm letting the interested manager make the offer though. If it sounds fair I'll probably take it. There's no expectation either way, he's decent enough to backup my non-training big spot and will receive the tail end of some 2 POS later this season if he stays. I imagine Sharkey may get the same.

You may consider moving this thread to the Barbados I.1 forum so that the local managers can have easy access to it. I'm not sure if they monitor the BB threads.

It would benefit them to have some input or at least access to the discussion.

I've let all the managers know about this forum a week or so ago.

I agree with ya Mix 350k is much to high for him.

Worstteamever informed me that he gets 4 draft points per week. I haven't heard from thestarks recently though.

Big News! If supporters are given a second team I will create my second team for Barbados for the purpose of developing a BA team to help develop young players! I would hope others would join too. This might be what micro-nations need.

It is great to see the young guys going for $290k & 350k that means they should get trained. You guys are doing a great job. It is 38-31 right now in the game v Paraguay which is great. MacLennan has 12 points & Waterworth has 12 rebounds & there are lots of assists from Tunna & Shames. It is looking good. Go Barbados!

We need some more players trained & in good game shape. Waterworth is lucky & proficient this week so has the top DMI on the team by lots even though he is 19 & he isn't even that good lool.

That's what is hurting us right now is the DMI/GS factor... Players are getting trained but after two weeks of managing the team, GS hasn't really improved much.

BUT ON A AWESOME NOTE, BARBADOS GOT A WIN TONIGHT!!!! YEAH!

We've got the US tonight. Going to be a tough game but we'll put our best lineup out and see what happens.

I don't get why you didn't get the GDP on Inside when they ran Inside Ice. Weird.

Agree but I have been lucky Waterworth is still proficient & top DMI on the team. Unllucky my Jamacia man Ward has had a long injury really messing him up.
