Doesn't change the fact that my (ex)draftees deserved the low salaries that they had. They are now looking for employment outside BB.

I will give my 2 cents about all of this.

I do not think the salaries have dropped by a single cent. I had a 21 year old trainee at 23k, trained up with an (Josef-ka) expected salary at 40k, and surprise it is 40k.

Then I have this fella (24018403). He got 1 pop last season only, as he is just a side player, yet his salary went from 5.2k to 5.7k. Even all of my scrubs have been gaining salary, even though only 1 of them got a freak accident pop. All in all, I do not think the salaries have dropped in general.

The rookies however are a whole new story. BB-Patrick has told us that the rookies were still being calculated by the old salary system, but they have made the adjustment to the new system this season, there for the rookie salaries are lower.

so how do you explain there's no player above 5500 salary out of the draft while last year there were a hell of a lot of players well above 6k even to 7800?

Because it was huge salary reduction. At least 30%.

Old calculator: http://www.how8.com/bb/index.php
Player with all skills = 7 has salary = 7 579

Actuall calculator: http://bbtools.x10.mx/potencjal/
Player with all skills = 7 has salary = 5 526
It is currently estimated the highest possible value of salary for players from draft because they can have maximum skill = 7.

5 527 / 7 579 = 72,9%
It's reduction of maximum salary.

And I think old calculator mentioned above isn't tool with original salary formula. I think it uses formula adjusted for season after few salary reductions. So original salary could be even higher than calculates by old calculator, so rookies in previous draftes could have even higher salary. Therefore curent reduction could be even higher than 30%.

No, in this season finally rookies have salary calculated by normal formula, the same as other players.
In seasons 21, 20, 19, 18, etc rookies had salary calculated with formula from season 15 or something like that (I don't remember exactly). Reduction, which affected all other players for many seasons, didn't affect rookies. They were overpriced. Now they have normal salary.
And now, instead of few small reductions season after season, we have one big reduction for rookies. But it's normal, salary of other players dropped by 30-40% since first reduction.
