They stated 3 months ago that people should put in their draft order by sunday? That's news to me.

In effect they did because it was the same situation last season. You are right that I don't need to be rude, but this has been very well publicised, it has been on the schedule, been on the news, been on the calendar and been common sense for weeks, and I totally agree with Iwen and Koop, people need to stop crying and blaming everyone else because they stuffed up. Don't leave things until the last minute. It is actually a basic principle that efficiency experts teach as well, "do it now".

Again, I think you mischaracterize what actually happened. As I saw it, the OP came in saying he can't use the scouting points he thinks its a bug, a couple people came in saying yes post it in the bug forum (including Iwen). I replied I don't think it's a bug and posted the BB-Charles announcement, including adding a suggestion that more notice be given in these situations (maybe better suited for the suggestions forum). I am on way too often (as I'm sure some of you are as well), for that to happen to me but I could understand why someone may not have been able to get onto buzzerbeater during the week.

I am not sure if there was a case of whining and crying on the australian board and that's why so many of aussies have come out so vociferously against providing more notice, but that said, this is a discussion we are having over a suggestion I made, as opposed to the concerns of the OP, so I won't derail this thread anymore.

We're pretty laid back here, no whining threads I can see at least.
