What I dont get, and think is a glitch in the game, is that my team went on the road and played a team rananked 300 spots ahead of me and I lose in a real close game, and I get a HALF a ball in the Played well in last league game....That is just stupid, my team played great, way over their heads actually......BB should fix this glitch.

As a Manager you may find your team has played really well (I think so too!) I've had this situation a couple of times as well.

But a hardcore fan may feel very different. Your team is everything to them, they played a game and t h e y L O S T!!!!!
So the day after, your fans are really upset about this, especially if it was a close game. After a couple of days they may realize that the loss wasn't so bad at all. Certainly if you post a win the next game. The rating for how you're doing for *this season* will reflect better how they feel after a couple of days...

hehe i think i am a fan like they ask in a survey, because a close games hurts for me as much then a game where my team get dominated. if you loose with just a few points, my impression of the games are normaly the faults the team made in the last minute, i know this view isn't rational but hey i am a fan ;)

Mostly an expected lose is more comfortabel with me if you are always 10-15 points behind, and it runs like expected before. As a player it is a totally different thing, as long you made your silly mistakes in the beginning^^

I found this amusing:

The "The team played well in our last game against K.K. PartizaN BeograD, our hated rival" was 5 balls until a week or so ago, when it dropped to 4.5 balls. Lately I'm playing TIE whenever I can since there are a lot of bots in my league and I'm still winning by 20-40 points.

Similar is the "I am pleased with team's performance this season": when I was 5-0 or 6-0, this category had 5 balls all the time. Now I'm 12-0 and it dropped to 4.5 balls...huh??

Yeah, it's frustrating. Going 12-0... What more do the fans expect? Winning more games than you've played?

I'm 11-1 in my league in first place with the highest PD (+336) (next highest in the league is +108). I started playing towards the end of last season, so my team was last place last season. Still, the "I am pleased with the team's performance this season" fluctuates between 4 and 5.
If a last place team goes on to be a first place team the next season, shouldn't the fans be jumping for joy?

Unless of course, cup games are taken into account. However, there is a separate survey thing for that, so I don't think it should be.

But wouldn't the fans be comparing my team with the other teams in my league?

If the Lakers beat the Timberwolves, it would be no big deal. But if the Lakers beat the Celtics or Magic (or whatever team), it would be a greater reason for the fans to be happy. In my case, I have beaten the number two team in the league and just about everyone else I played. (So I have beaten both good teams and bad teams)

And a previous poster said he was 12-0 = undefeated.

If the Lakers were having an undefeated season (beating both teams like the Timberwolves and teams like the Celtics), wouldn't the fans go crazy?

What's great for me is my fans started the season with 5 balls on how we performed last season. Now they are down to 3.5. Only because my team is actually in first for this season.

As for the star players and doing everything categories. I just give up on them. Right now they are both at 4, but I haven't done anything to improve my team except for having players come back from injuries. So maybe I got a boost on doing everything because I have more players to pick from now.
