I agree, a common strategy is for example training guards then at some point selling 1 or 2 of them off so u can fund bringing in better big men. Then hopefully getting some good draftees as replacement trainees.

i personaly dont like any tactical plan that doesnt conider each game at the time
playing specilized offence makes you to predictable, if you play inside, every team will guard you 2-3 zone, improving their rebounds, otherwise they play 3-2 or 1-3-1 and you will have lower precentage

i preffer to swich, so team mainly plays man to man against me, makes their deffence average, and alowing me to attack however i wish

but thats just my point of view, other managers may tell you otherwise
it's up to you

good luck

You still can play Push (or Base or Patient if you like lower pace).

Ok so i have one last question and my doubts will be clear :)

How relevant is Game Shape?
Does it make a big difference in Games or no?
Oh and does game shape rise/fall automatically and if yes what affects this?
Will Team Training GS increase Team performance more than Stamina Training or no?

Edit : Ok i checked my Roster out and all my DMI's have changed O.o
I now have 2 players 20k+ DMI and i know none of their stats popped this week :o
And my star player who had highest DMI now has below 10k ...
It is clearly visible that Those high DMI players have High GS 8-9.
Does this also mean my star player will not perform as he used to?

Game Shape is one of the most important things to your performence!
it will change from week to week, depends on the minutes your player gets
if he doesnt play enough (say less then 48 minutes a week) his GS will probably drop (not always)
if he playes too much (say more then 80-85 minutes a week) his GS will drop
basicly, you cant play your star players as starters in 3 games aweek, and you will need the 3rd game (cup or scrimmage) to give your backups some game time

you can train GS and it will effect it, but all other training regimes has nothing to do with game shape

about DMI, it's an index that is quite missleading
genneraly it tells you the odds of this player to give good performence and depends upon GS and skills
if your stars are less than 10k, then i assume they havre bad game shape, and will probably give bad peformence
but i wouldnt pay too much attention to DMI, you can play your stars still, just try to keep the minutes in the future

Ok that was very insightful :)

So im guessing GS affects game performance more than Stamina..
And technically the more Stamina you have the worse your game shape will be as the player will play longer?

And speaking of training GS does it like improve players GS whose are lower or tries to maintain/improve Current GS of all players or only those who get Training mins?

This is more complicated than i thought :S
I was planning to train FT as my star player is atrocious and never makes a single one but because of his bad GS he wont be much of a star lol ...
This is gonna be a tough week as the matches im playing are against lower level teams and i need to win to stay on top :x
Lets see how this week goes :O!

I wouldn't train game shape. I would only think of training FT or stamina if there is a 2 game week, up to u though. Just because a player has high stamina doesn't mean he will have bad game shape. The optimal minutes per week is about 65-70 minutes, if u can get your players around that its good. More then 80 minutes per week is bad.

But isnt Game shape important?
So if there's a two game week GS will improve without training?

Methinks this is gonna be a bad week >.>

ROFL
My players had 100+ Mins :x

All My SG's are in bad shape my star player has a low GS and my two subs have inept GS :x
I Guess i didnt give much attention to that detail before lol.

Oh and If you train a stat for say two games and then change training for third after which the training calculations happen.
So in the next week if i say switch back to the initial training i was doing will the training mins still be there?

What i wanted to ask was:

Lets say in a week there are three games A,B,C and then after C the training happens.

Lets say for Games A and B i train Rebounding and get 4 players to 48 mins+
Then after game B i change training to Passing for game C.

Now after C my training will be taken ass Passing and the update is made.

So my question was after the Passing training completed the next week if i switched back to Rebounding would i still have the training mins from games A and B since they were not used in the training?
