The new training scheme for Pikoulas is a pain on the short term - he will be an extraordinary player after 1 1/2 seasons from now.

For the meantime I understand he is not first choice.

Hopefully only for some more training updates of the high-potential young followers. Cyprus now really has a chance to build up a strong team, there is a lot of good new players.

Pikoulas has not even nearly had perfect conditions, today's 18y. old NT candidates can make it much better.

Let me explain this, maybe it is useful to motivate some managers:

1) Pikoulas received his first training ever after the second full week of season 7. That means he missed 3 possible trainings after he was drafted.

2) His starting wage was fourthousand and something (>4.000€), I forgot the exact sum. That means that he was not exceptionally gifted. Good, very good, but there are Draft Players above 6.000€.

3) He received only very few single trainings (Center only), most of the time the Coach payed attention to the respective PFs as well.

Start with a 6k Inside player, train him consequently (every now and then a single training) and you will produce the future star of Cyprus. Go for it!

A special issue:
4) Last not least he is limited by All-Star Potential (~50k wage). This is one of the main reasons I am going the hard way to make him a PF -> SF, he can receive many more trainings this way. His wage will be around 25k by the season update. Six more Inside Skill Updates and he will likely hit the soft cap. Going for SF he can have ~20 skillups without doing so (old man by then...).

1) to 3) are quite evident. Personally, I regard issue 4) to be one key of future BB strategies, maybe not quite so important for NT Centers...

I cant wait to see my draftee Kerkidis where is ranked on 19 y/o players. he is 19 y/o but hall of fame potential, and only 2 pop ups behind from the main C skills from Yiannakakos. I am so excited!

First update for 20 years old players. Some of them are already in our Junior Team and next season some of them could play for Senior Team... may be... we will decide together with new u21 coach next season. Now let check these talents:

Guards:

1) A. Kostis (6895171) of Falanga BK -> He's still improving, like everywhere. He's our best defensive player between "dwarfs"

2) M. Kopanidis (6895181) of Gold Towers -> Pretty good on every important skills he's growing up too and he's cold on free throws!

3) N. Poulakis (7757368) of B. At. Almogàvers -> Good work by -cesc10-. I think now that Poulakis could reach u21 NT, but he has to grow up at least 2 levels on OD.

4) Y. Varozis (7398399) of Corbetta Rangers -> More complete than Poulakis, but down by 2 levels on JS. He has to improve a lot to be part of next u21 team during the second part of this season

5) P. Xidous (6924299) of E8NIKOS ASSIA -> He pops twice this year, but I personally still don't know if kampos know how train his players.

Small Forwards:

1) M. Papanogiotou (6895175) of Gold Towers -> I personally expect a better raise of the skills of "Papa", but he's growing quite good on shooting... nor the same on Defense...

2) M. Eftaras (6892196) of Gold Towers -> Best defender between Small Forward... now he has to shoot!

3) I. Kalpadakis (6892181) of Cruellords -> Half season lost... I hope to recover him speaking with Cru!

4) A. Tsigas (6924295) of Kiel Baskets 07 -> He's now trained away from Cyprus but always as Guard, so he could be a small forward only for a Run & Gun offense

5) A. Kerkidis (8982822) of Slatington Serpents -> Good work by Draco26. He's quite complete everywhere I'd like to know which dimension would he gave to Kerkidis.

Inside Players:

1) N. Pikoulas (6924283) of Board Room -> Only 3 pop-ups this season... he's not easy to change a 213cm into a small forward. He's still our PF/C

2) Y. Kaliasis (7529531) of Delta Cappuccio Team -> After GM's trading for Kaliasis we are looking for a more complete player (with defense), that allow us to use Kaliasis as Small Forward too for the future on Senior team (may be next year?)

3) I. Kraidis (6924314) of San Osnofa Spurs -> After injuries he's back and he's our best inside defender between 20 y.o.

4) Y. Dontas (7589199) of I Mucchi -> He's a great rebounder... I expect some IS training for the future of this player that could be usefull for next u21 team and may be senior team!

5) Z. Tsakalidis (8238516) of LOrigine Perduta -> He's good... he's not so good... he has to improve at least 2 levels of IS and ID to be competitive for next u21 team.

A very complete battery of players. We have all for a good u21 team... we have something for a better Senior Team for the future!

Guards:

1) A. Kostis (6895171) of Falanga BK -> 10 pop-ups this season, nice point guard that could start in the line-up next season, but I hope that his passing level will be raised, so we can consider to have a "playmaker" and not a shooting guard masquareded by point guard

2) M. Kopanidis (6895181) of Gold Towers -> Best shooter, no problem of ST and FT. He has to be a better defender... he will be?

3) N. Poulakis (7757368) of B. At. Almogàvers -> 3 level down on shooting (JS-JR) in respect of Kopanidis and he's to skill up on FT, but... I remember when Poulakis was set on the market... great work by -cesc10- continue like that

4) Y. Varozis (7398399) of Corbetta Rangers -> A little worse than Poulakis, but he could stay or reach NT... it depends on Rangers one. OD and JS on high quantity

5) T. Konidakis (6892169) of Suprems -> It's strange, because I've never spoken with Bärbelchen 2, but this player is the best point guard we have in all Cyprus, except for OD! He needs OD as a man in the desert! Please! OD and JS next season, but mainly OD!

Small Forwards:

2) M. Eftaras (6892196) of Gold Towers -> He's going to shoot... and he shoots quite well!

1) M. Papanogiotou (6895175) of Gold Towers -> Tassos, please give defense to this man! He needs it! Next season I expect his re-raise on my quotation (I mean... for the future complete SF)

3) I. Kalpadakis (6892181) of Cruellords -> It's really a shame... he was a good player... he's still interesting, but... but he will outdated very soon

4) N. Skarmoutsos (7740524) of Lancang Kuning -> Big man... 211cm tall... is a very balanced and interesting player, but... but is only a "starter"!

5) M. Aggelousis (8823271) of nTb SQ -> Very similare to Skarmoutsos, 2 levels down on IS

Inside Players:

1) Y. Kaliasis (7529531) of Delta Cappuccio Team -> He's the best C, PF and... SF too! Incredible and amazing player! Polyhedric and impressive player. He will be the star of next U21 team. Let's go GM-B31

2) N. Pikoulas (6924283) of Board Room -> He's been overcome by Kaliasis as C, PF and SF too, but he's still really important for U21 and NT in the future. At the end of the season I will discuss with Pallu in order to know his plan for him

3) I. Kraidis (6924314) of San Osnofa Spurs -> Osnofa has told me that he won't be trained next season... bad new...

4) Y. Dontas (7589199) of I Mucchi -> He shoots and he will defend a little bit more next season... pay attention to Dontas... if Kraidis won't be really trained he could pass over him

5) Z. Tsakalidis (8238516) of LOrigine Perduta -> "the origin is lost", but Tsakalidis could have the chance to be part of next U21 team that wanna be qualyfied for World Cup

Nikos Skarmoutsos
http://new.buzzerbeater.org/player/7740524/overview.aspx

- Exceptionally strong ID/OD for 6'11" bigman
- Lowest stats is DR, since i built my team with designated firepower. Nikos is not our primary scorer BUT doing the dirty work down there...
- was injured for 2 weeks, but never slowed down on the training speed.
- Listed PF, but now can play 4 position on the floor. Best in SF position.

Hi Steve,

I would like to apply a U21 position for this kid. Thanks.. :)

Nikos Poulakis wants to play in the selection and train very hard. Each week he improved . I trust him a lot.
