And I don't understand why Prov would CT me at home with a road game versus Booshes next up? I don't feel too bad TIE'ing on the road and only losing by 14, especially since he went CT.

What a crazy evening it was. A lot of action and some crucial games.

Cleveland @ Illusion: 73 mins of basketball, 5 0T, 290 FG attempts, 368 points total and home side won the game 186-182. 7 players scored 30+ points. It's hard to analyze such a weird game but one number tells it all. Illusion's 93 rebounds against Cleveland's 52. However 25/50 behind the 3 point line for Cleveland is remarkable. Another interesting fact is only one player was fouled out in a 73 minute game. After the game fans were like it can't get any better than this.

This crazy game shouldn't overshadow Booshers’ great victory against Gavno at Indiana. It was a battle of different strategies. Gavno was up by 6 at the end of the first half but Booshers' second half performance handed Gavno first home loss of the season. Gavno is an extremely strong team with a lot options on the court but their record against other contenders (1-3) is disappointing at this point. Booshers new signing Mercan -despite all his talent- looked tired and seemed to be suffering from jet lag.

Upset of the day -some might not call this an upset- was at Chicago. Magic pulled out a great victory against Goats: 74-92. Although Goats TIE'd and Magic went normal this is still huge for Magic. Goats fans have every right to expect more from Partidge, Capps and Cantrell, especially on the offensive end. The interesting fact was despite using a low post strategy, Goats tried 18 3 point shots only 2 of which went in.

Steppers benched some of their starters including Mina, both teams TIE’d and Hawks won by 18 at Charlotte. 72-90. Rumor has it, Billon requested to stay home for this game and was mad at being named as a starter. He was benched through out almost entire second half to get the rest he needed though. Problem will be addressed once the team returns to Indianapolis.

Investors don't want to give away any home games; CT'd against Rip City and got what they wanted: 88-74. They are currently sitting on the 4th place.

Knicks are not in the winning mode now. Flyers, lead by Matan Saadon, grabbed an easy win: 44-120. Flyers management gave the players one day off to party in Manhattan, as a reward for their great win.

Tachenko took back the 3rd place after an easy win against Dragons. 80-105. Coach didn't let his players, who are waiting for the Thurday's cup game, lose focus on this game. Their back up Center Redick Jansen achieved the 4th triple double of his career.

Cresleys hold on to the game until the last quarter but Bangers made no mistake: 119-97. Cresleys still suffer behind FT line, this time they missed 14 of them.

Player of the day was, Statovci of "The Illusion". Although 66 mins of playing time inflated his numbers; 40 pts, 9 asts, 30 rbds, 2 blocks with only 1 to were impressive.

Game of the Saturday will be between Illusion and Hawks. Gavno @ Magic might be an interesting one as well. With the way they played this week, expect Magic to give Gavno some hard time.

Good luck to Tachenko and Gavno in their cup games on Thursday.

Yeah, Goats fans were seen rioting in the streets after the game because of this two game losing streak. I thought we played remarkably crappy. Just looking at the numbers, I think Partridge might've played better than Dorman but the perimeter of Cantrell, Capps, and Webber (our normal rotation from the previous seasons) were given the FAIL Award by the Team President.

Capps is shooting his way out of Chicago right now. Reminds me too much of Ben Gordon at times and I cannot play effective basketball playing the RNG all the time which is where he excels at. With Partridge and Capelo at Center, I have to take advantage of the offensive edge they give me. Otherwise, it's not money well spent.

The other problem we're having is when we get to the free throw line, we're not taking advantage of those either. Goats have always been a crappy free throw team but I'm going to save the Free Throw training for later in their careers. Right now, I've got these young post players that need focused training that I can't waste it on free throws.

On the Hot Seat:

Lorenzo Capps - our RNG days are not over but they're non-existent this season as I wanted to take advantage of my post players. I moved Capps to SG for this game and put Webber back at starting SF and the Low Post offense went to hell.

Lowell Webber - I think I have too high expectations for Webber that he's underperforming in my mind but when I did my analysis of all of his games, he's actually my higher performing player along with Cantrell. Apparently Webber and Cantrell are my two most consistently high performers.

Clinton Cantrell - He's not really on the hot seat because without Cantrell running the offense, my offensive production drops. However, he's supposed to be a pretty good three point shooter but he's hitting his threes at a 0.217 percentage right now. It is his third time to shoot below 0.300 on the season for three pointers but this is his lowest since Season 7 when he shot 0.250 from the arc. He went 0-6 from the arc and had a 1:1 assist:turnover ratio. Not a good night for Cantrell, one that can definitely be improved upon.

Well what can I say other then UNBELIEVABLE! Russell aka The ILLUSION and I began talking back and forth and on chat around the end of the 4th quarter. I had figured by the end of the 1st quarter that I had called the wrong defensive tactics vs. his offensive tactics as Knez, Pennatti, and Smith couldn't get a rebound to save their lives and they are normally decent rebounders. In addition to the rebounding problem his bigs were lighting it up specifically Statovci. By halftime he already had 20 and 20 I believe. I figured I was lucky at half to be close and told Russel by email If I lost by less then 15 I would be surprised. The problem was, in analyzing the game, that Russells tactics choice started the "PERFECT STORM" He also guessed wrong on tactics and assumed I was going to go LI and I went motion which pushed my guys out toward the 3 point line where they started to drool because they had wide open 3 pointers all night long and I have not let them shoot like that in a couple weeks. German, Barry, Nicol, Zabalbaru and Barajas are all decent shooters and wide open they just drained em all night. Now lets talk John Barr. Barr is a beast of a player which nobody likes to have to guard but for some reason John was asleep in the first half and we guarded him pretty well. The second half came around and John Barr.......well he woke up. He went off in the 4th putting his team on his shoulders and draining the needed 3 to tie the game with 2 sec left. At that point I figured game over ILLUSIONS at home they have advantage. Little did I know that Zabalbaru would come off the bench and pull a John Barr nailing a 3 to take us to another OT. Barr got tired of his shooting and knocked him out of the game literally he got hurt and was done for the night. That did not help my chances. 5 OT later Barr iced the last OT with a jumper and by that time both Russell and I were just ready for the game to be over as our minutes are so jacked it will take 2 weeks to get back to some type of normalcy. What did I learn from this? Well other then the fact that The ILLUSION and I both have great players--Our tactics snafu created the PERFECT STORM which ultimately created A COMEDY OF ERRORS! Incredibly fun game to watch though!

Different enthusiasms x incorrect defensive tactics calls + normal vs. TIE / home court advantage = a 73 min. game that I still lost. LOL oh well maybe next time. Wait I don't want another 5 OT game it is someone else's turn.

INTERESTING FACTS TO PONDER:

368 total points scored.

At one point in OT I had 8 Timeouts and ILLUSION had 7 even after calling all the TO toward the end of each quarter/OT.

When is the last time a motion offense produced 50 3 pt shots for one team. Wonder what it would have been like had I gone RNG?

Has D III ever had two 30/40 pt and 30 reb players in the same game ON THE SAME TEAM?

68 FT were attempted with only 1 person fouling out! Good coaching or bad defense? Hmmmm? Don't answer that I want to think it was the coaching.

290 total shot attempts with 145 made for a combined shooting percentage of 50% pretty good on any night for one team much less two teams combined.

85 total assists with only 28 turnovers.

76 3 pt attempts combined 50 by one team.

18 different players contributing points towards the total.

Now those are some crazy stats from a crazy game that the Crazy's lost! Any other game I go 25 for 50 from the 3pt line and I win!

To me, that is hands down the greatest game in BB history. You'll never see anything like that again. Maybe you will, but not with such contrasts in stats and strategies. Only one foul out too?! If that were a game played on ESPN, instant classic baby!

Although, yes here comes my shite, I don't think you can pick a player for player of the night from that game. All those guys deserve credit, but I would have picked a player from a different, less confounding game.

Ya know, Like George Braden, 30 pts. 8 reb. 8 ast. 1 stl, 1 blk, 0 to. ;)

Sometimes my girlfriend tells me I'm too much of a smart ass. I think this time I agree with her...

I would agree with you with 5 OT's it would be tough but I would vote for Statovci on his 4 quarter performance alone not counting the 5 OT's.

Great Games Last Night! I agree Crazy's/Illusion was a BB greatist hits!

Without a doubt, I would put our Div 3 strength of teams vs any other. I have three other buddies in Div 3 and there divisions are not nearly as competitive or fun! Good Stuff Fella's!

OMG... Too Funny.. RE: "Flyers gave the players one day off to party in Manhattan".. I often let the coach pick the players during the game.. so its up to him to let them unwind i guess!

Thanks for collecting those stats btw Fella.

What an amazing game. After 2nd OT i thought there must be an error in the buzzerbeater match system and this game is never going to end. Our teams were playing on polar opposites with crazys dominating the perimeter, and me dominating the inside. Who knew we would end up playing so evenly. I thought I was going to lose after that first quarter and I closed my match viewer, and didnt check back on buzzerbeater untill 1st overtime, so i could see what the end score was. Little did i know the game was INTENSE. I cried, I laughed, and I cheered for joy, it was a hell of a performance.
