Basically every D1/B3 out there. The guards have like 11+ IS with some of them in 15-19 range that play NT. All the guards have 18+ OD, with 17+ DR and they barely have JS/JR. The big men and SF are loaded with IS, DR. All they play is LI, LP, II, Ptb.

oh wow i just stumbled across this - made for some good reading! got lost in the tirade!

its a good point though that you make - I do try and always talk about 'relative numbers' - that is - saying 'SB greater than ID', which could be mean 10 > 8.

It is hard though to always talk like this and in general, people will use the skills that they have experience with as a reference point. and because a lot of wise old men in BB land have been in top leagues, they tend to talk in top league terms as a point of reference.

This is where Utopia came in - because it allowed the 'big teams' to have a new team, and trial their theories using lower cased skill levels.

I dont think a red X is necessary, but certainly don't take literal skill levels as a good comparison in any thread.

I know of atheist 2 teams that are planning on building elite teams with SB guards and will aim for B3. And I really do hope we see them there making even more of a difference.

Since all of my draftees were guards, I am reconsidering my plan for the next seasons as well, and the idea of training SB on the guards is just crazy enough to be appealing.
