No-one is to complain until they see the ABBL draft. I had seasons of draft points and the first pick and there is not one decent player worth picking in the entire draft.

Awesome, Isaak and Heidt's skill sets are on the offsite forum! I gotta admit they're both looking good.

Any major moves or acquistions happen in II.2 during the All Stars week?

Yes, chucky quit tanking!

Nothing much to add so far but I expect some teams to strengthen up before the final sprint, especially on the blue side.

I think HA could be div 2 bound again.

Going to get caught in a relegation series against a team that has been banking 400K plus a week

Gleneg Tigers still favourites to make it to the ABBL next season?

Personnally, I fancy betting on HSD who is a lot more talented. However, if GT bought a worthy SF, there is no doubt they would make all the way to ABBL.

Next season Choo Choo should take it and I can see myself winning in a couple of seasons if I manage to stay alive while training my kids during the current one!

I genuinely thought if GT had of been a bit more adventorous and made some moves last season, that HA would have struggled against them

Good luck all

Hey Sid,

I have made some major moves over the past month to releive some salary pressure (God it hurts dropping from ABBL) and have a more consistant team. I am still struggling to get my crowds anywhere near where they were in Div 2 before I got promoted to ABBL last season.

First relegation around was relatively easy for HA in that I spent half a season having a bet each way in the ABBL and pretty much had a value for salary team ready to go when I entered back into div 2.

I set the crowds below average to allow for the dissatisfaction of my crowd for my team being relegated.Just like a team gets a boost in crowd satisfaction the season they are promoted they take a kick when the team is relegated.

Teams who get promoted and forget to drop their ticket prices for the second season take a knock because the crowds are no longer as satisfied

I did a bit of research when renetering div 2 and had everything below half price i.e. bleachers $9 etc. gradually I snuck them up after having success against rivals and in TV games and in the cup.

If you are still in div 2 next season you will find that the crowd satisfcation will not be as low. Good luck to all

Thanks for the advice. I think I have been too much of a tight arse to drop my ticket margins too much so have suffered the consequences. I lowered my prices in line with where they were at before my promotion but didnt account for drop in crowd satisfaction. The fans have been harsh!

Damn I'm such a stupid bidder! When my eyes get caught by a player, there is no way I'll give up a bidding war :(

Ah well sometimes you overpay, sometimes you get a bargain and I guess that make us all happy traders.

Whatever, happy new year to you guys and let's get the party started in Europe!
