Regardless of the number of teams remaining, the income from the Cup is abysmal. In all the uproar over the percentage of gate receipt money going to the players union in regular season games, the severe reduction in Cup income—or at least its potential—has been overlooked. in some cases I believe it could be up to a 80% reduction. I'm simply weighing in...

I agree with you...part of the advantage of building a bigger arena is getting additional cup income. Now it doesn't matter at all...

I agree. Particularly as a Div. III manager, this has been killing me. The best part of being in th cup now is the ability to TIE not the money.
