but I wish the step of Firing a Player was not enforced on all teams.


Tutorial is for new players that have many useless players so it's no big deal to fire one of them.

Also, I'm worried that forcing new players to refer a friend might make them skittish.


It is a way for free advertisement. If you don't assume to play that game, write your own e-mail adress.

I've played this game for 10 seasons longer than you, you don't think I understand that? I am stating specifically for older teams, the firing thing makes no sense. I realize that it is great advice for new teams, that's why I didn't criticize it's implementation for that group.

I also understand it is free advertisement. But try and imagine you are a new player that just discovered this game. Having the game ask you for a friends email in order to get ahead in the game would be a little annoying and you might wonder if they will continue to ask for things like this in the futute to make gains. It just gives the game a "candy crush" feel where you wonder if your involvement in it will piss off your friends and relatives.

I finished the tutorial and did not receive a new player. Am I being too hesitant or should I be worried? How long did it take for you guys? I cannot find the setting in preferences anymore either.

jokeru; I assume so (I was on my phone, so after I tried to click on the phase where I need to watch a game live the guide disappeared). At one point earlier I already managed to go to preferences once and make the guide come back (so I know for sure something changed).

But now, I can't return to the guide to make sure I did indeed complete all the steps, neither did I receive the player.

I am in the same boat, Clicked on replay but didn't receive player and can't find in preferences/settings.

You need to watch game stats (click on game result) not live game.
