Sonics dropped 7 straight, lost to BKT Kings 82-115 at National TV Games.

The energic Flyer Sonic were dissapeared for some reason.

Playing with less enthusiasm, Sonics only able to stay competitive at first quarter before Abdul Hamid started BKT Kings 10-0 midway in the 2nd quarter. BKT up 58-37 after halftime. The deficit went worse at third quarter, as BKT kept running behind the Greekish birdman Damian Pitsoulakis. BKT up 40 points at the beginning on 4th, and Sonic barely made it close and had to lose with huge deficit.

Pitsoulakis led BKT with tremendous 32 points and 15rebs, he replaced most of injured Ahmad Islam minutes. Niu Tse Hung had 26 points and 14 rebs. LAW led Sonics with 25 points and Captain Peh 24 points. Both only combined for 15 rebs, as Sonics was outrebounded by physical BKT 36-51.

With the loss, Sonics stand at 3-10 and still steady at fifth place on Great 8.

Meanwhile at YG arena, SG Young Guns were able to take revenge on their dramatic cup loss by beating mighty SaungHninPwint team 96-89. It was also a close game with a lot of lead changes, and SG YG were able to maintain eight points lead at final quarter. With SHP didn't made effort to win (they play TIE), SG YG took the victory. Ponc Davesa led YG with 25 points. Fong Loong MEng with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Liad Saglovic led SHP with 24 points. With Suhaimi bin Awang, both are the longest member of SHP players that still stayed in the high turnover SHP roster.

Interview with EricUnited's manager and players after Quarterfinal game against Backers

Last season the two teams met in the cup final. This season, long time rivals Shohoku Backers and EricUnited meets again in the cup, this time in the quarterfinals. The game, like many previous meetings between the two teams, received much hype from the media and fans.

"Like previous meetings with Backers, it was always going to be intense and nerve-wracking, not that good for my heart, but I am sure both set of fans enjoys the game", said Eric. "We had great fun after the game, thanks to Rane and team for the champagnes and also the well wishes!"

Y. Leng Jie was seen dancing with his NT pals, K. Jin Jin and D. Jin Yau. "Haha, I didn't know they can dance so well," said Leng Jie, "Will ask them for a drinking session after NT game with Philippines!"

A. Gomez who played his last game for EricUnited was very emotional, "After playing in SBBL for 11 seasons, it was a perfect send-off for me. This win against Backers who are the team to beat this season. And also the champagnes and celebration after the game. I will always remember the friends that I have made here," said the teary-eyed captain.

G. Szentmiklósi who led EricUnited with 20 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists told the press, "We were lucky to have the support of the home fans, they were great! Without them, we might not have manage to edge out Backers in the last quarters. Thanks to all the fans who came to cheer us on!"

After another hard loss, Sonic are now 3-10 having another worse record in the season.

PJL: It was tough.. Alot of mistake is in the locker room. This place is like a retirement team than a contender team. Everyone start to talk about buying BTO, start a family include some of the ex allstar player. Only a few talks about championship. This is bad. I have talk to the upper level. I hope something can be change.

Coach: Indeed we having a rebuilding process. But the result is far more than acceptable. If the market is good, we hope to get some new blood to join this team. Worse case we might need to fight in survivor round.

You already blew out my team at home how can i expect a close fight.
I wish to win this one but i am no match to match the mighty SHP team. I''ll be happy with either result.

SHP is too strong for me even I had HCA, must be either my bad tactics or roster not good eough

it's always a nightmare when you're against a team with 6-7 100k players. i think you might want to upgrade your bench players, but that might add more expense to your weekly.
