well that didn't really go according to plan. i got lucky with that one! i was surprised with your RnG offense, didn't see that coming and unfortunately you didn't shoot well on the perimeter.

Looks like it's me and you in the semis. I'm pretty happy that I made it this far for the first time. Looks like my season will probably end against you though.

Hopefully I will get my wish and Kaboom will get the promotion. It's no secret that I have not placed any importance on staying up in the Naismith, because the gains IMO are pretty nebulous. Slightly more TV revenue, and you can charge a little more for tickets, but those are offset by worse fan surveys because it's very hard to win a majority of your games without a huge payroll, and much shorter playoff runs, if you make it at all.

Then again, maybe Above and Beyonds will beat me on Saturday, but that's not my first choice because then I will miss the final games for revenue and training purposes.

I do notice that everytime I come down to div II the teams are a little better than they were. The $1mil promotion money is also nice.

wow. what a transfer by J Dragons. I dont think its smart. He will have to pay one more week of salary because he is in RL, and he wont be able to use that player.

the season could be far from over for the griffins. My team has really struggled this season compared to what i had expected coming into it. if i do get by into the final, i don't expect to win promotion. the jugglers have a stronger starting 5 than me, better enthusiasm, and home court advantage.

Dammit man, I knew you were going to beat me, but did you have to go hurt Hadley? lol it's hard enough to train these guys in 2 game weeks without you injuring them.

sorry didn't mean to hurt him in the game. it must have been karma for how the 1st quarter ended. I'm going to have to call a few experts to explain to me how i can shoot with 1 second on the clock, miss, you get the rebound, pass to hadley at half court, launch a three while being fouled and make 3 ft's to end the 1st quarter. I'm not exactly a physicist or mathematician, but i still can't figure out how all that can happen in 1 second ;)

It's pretty simple really. There was a very long rebound that went off the rim and flew all the way to half court. Hadley grabbed it and threw it up immediately, only to be fouled. It makes perfect sense :)
I'm not too sure why your player shot the free throw so hard that it bounced all that way though, you should have a word to him about that one ;)

now i'm really confused. i thought occhipinti lauched a three with 1 second on the clock. (I've already ripped him a new one for not waiting until 0.3 on the clock to shoot) i still don't get how wienshowski pulled down the rebound and got the ball to hadley, and then the shot and foul were committed at half court. :)
i must be getting old and slow so time doesn't work the same.... in the this world i could see myself grabbing boards and dunking from half court with no time on the clock and it's all good...... oh wait that's the real nba!!!! ;)
